Hotel in zona Peek & Cloppenburg, Salisburgo

This is a really nice hotel just beside the train station and across the street from the main bus lines that take you everywhere in the City. The room was excellent with a free mini-bar and other nice amenities. It is definitely worth spending more for the higher floor as the view is spectacular. Lot's of mountains on one side and rolling countryside on the other. The staff were all good, check-in and check-out was easy and the breakfast in the morning was tasty with lots of variety. I would definitely stay there again.

Thanks to fellow reviewers who steered us to this delightful hotel located two blocks from Mirabel Palace (site of the evening Mozart concerts) and in easy walking distance of the old city across the river. Fans of the original Kimpton hotels (pre-IHG takeover) will appreciate the modern cool vibe. Rooms are attractive, quiet and well-appointed with comfortable furnishings. The front desk staff is amiable and professional. Apparently, like many establishments, Covid reduced the former full breakfast buffet to Continental style but croissants are accompanied by fresh fruit and a lovely assortment of fresh preserves. We would absolutely return to this property and will enthusiastically recommend it to friends.

L'hotel è in ottima posizione. Solo fuori dalla stazione ferroviaria. Le camere sono pulite e ha calda elettrica nella stanza. Questo è particolarmente utile per fare una tazza di tè caldo dopo il ritorno da una lunga e stanca vista di giorno. Anche il personale dell'hotel è amichevole.

Cocoon Salzburg - 10-13 July 2022 done both not all pix only the room This hotel is almost right across from the train station, on a corner, very easy to find - white 7 story building with a big butterfly outline on the glass doors. Inside the lobby is part of the bar and breakfast room. Checkin is super friendly. Room is small but wins the cuteness prize. Carpeting and walls in hallway all green with small leafy patterns like in a jungle. Bed is firm and very comfy, bedding is an interesting weave feeling like soft cotton paper, and 4 big fluffy pillows. No amenities in room such as phone, electric kettle or coffee makers, or even a small fridge. Has safe however. The hanging rattan chair is cute but takes up some room. Day couch by the window, no tables, night stands or desk - or chair for that matter (no room anyway). The most minimal amount of furniture, the idea I guess is all about lounging around so you don't ever need to sit up anywhere. Not much surface to layout stuff just a sort of narrow shelving on the wall next to the TV. Bathroom also tiny but everything is new and modern and the rain shower is the best ever. Takes a bit of maneuvering to get our two large suitcases settled. We are on the 6th floor so have a bit of view of mountains over the top of a building across the street. Windows have electrically controlled shutters outside (push button inside). You get a nice bar of chocolate and 5 euros for opting out housekeeping (although they said something about not continuing this practice). Floor uncarpeted. Aircon good. Wifi seems pretty fast. Nightlight under the bed is motion sensitive, so it comes on whenever you are moving around the room. Breakfast is good with scrambled and pre shaped fried eggs, sausage and bacon-like ham. Good selection of pastries and croissants and breads. Half dozen different kinds of tea all loose so need to scoop into a teabag in order to steep which is interesting and pretty fancy. Selection of cold meats as well and cheese. Tomato, cucumber and fruit. They don't check to see if you have breakfast included which is strange because it's extra charge for breakfast so not automatically included in all rooms. Overall a pretty good breakfast and food gets replenished pretty quickly. Seating tends to run out at peak time and people will ask to share your table if there is room.

L'hotel stesso era buono. La stanza era piccola ma molto ben pianificata, aveva aria condizionata, caldaia, cassaforte, gel da doccia, ecc. - tutto quello che avresti bisogno. Il letto aveva anche un soft supporto per la testa quando siedi nel letto. Avete dovuto entrare in hotel vicino (2 minuti a piedi, non più), ma per noi non c'era problema. Dopo di che, si usa semplicemente la carta di lusso per sbloccare fuori e la vostra porta camera. Anche l’amministrazione è stata molto utile (soprattutto la bionda, paga un bonus!). Infine, l’isolamento sonoro è stato buono e le finestre sono state prove sonore. Ora le inconvenienti. Anche se la stanza era pulita e tesa, le tole erano cambiate, ma i puliziani non facevano il loro lavoro correttamente, perché c'era una caldaia nella stanza, i bagagli di tè e caffè erano lasciati nei primi tre giorni, ma il quarto e il quinto giorno non erano lasciati. Possiamo comprarli, ma i negozi funzionano solo fino alle 8:00, quindi è troppo tardi quando siamo tornati. Il terzo giorno, lei ha lasciato i bagagli di tè e caffè, ma non ha lasciato tazze di carta e ha anche gettato via vecchie tazze di carta che ho lasciato sulla mia tavola. Ci hanno dato dei tazze giuste con le spalle, e il pulitore non ha messo una bottiglia di sapone liquido, quindi ha dovuto chiedere anche l'amministrazione di questo. Il pulitore era abbastanza lato, che la bottiglia vuota di sapone non era stata presa (non puoi farlo da solo, ho provato). La mattina finale, siamo usciti dal gel di doccia (sfortunatamente ho già iniziato a fare doccia), e abbiamo quasi uscito dal carta da bagno, perché il puliziatore non poteva aggiungere il secondo come sempre). Ma le nuance sopra elencate fanno molto peggio che vale la pena. Sarei tornato se sapessi che il problema con i puliziari è sortito.

Perfetto come posizione se si è in viaggio in auto direzione Rep. Ceca (Praga ecc...) Accogliente, pulito e con personale disponibile e cordiale. Ottima colazione alla mattina. Parcheggio disponibile vicinissimo

The hotel is very conveniently located just by Salzburg station. Bus r 2 connects it to the airport. Good area with restaurants and shops very close. 15/20 minutes walk to all the main attractions. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff nice and helpful. The common areas of the hotel are modern and clean. There's a room for the luggage if you need to keep it before checking in or after checking out. The rooms were spacious and clean. So is the bathroom. The breakfast was very good, the breakfast room has a lovely view of the city. The only complain we have is that the room was very hot and the shower head bracket didn't work.

Nach 12 Jahren Abstinenz waren wir wieder hier zu Gast und hatten ein absolut großartiges Erlebnis. Es blieb kein Wunsch offen. Das historische Hotel bietet alles was dazu gehört. Geräumige Zimmer mit antikem Mobiliar, sehr gepflegt und sauber mit wunderschönem Blick in den Garten und die Terrasse. Die Küche ist definitiv auf Haubenniveau mit sehr gehobener österreichischer und traditioneller Prägung. Wir waren begeistert. Auch sehr zu empfehlen ist die Weinbegleitung zu den Gerichten. Das Personal und der Empfang waren mehr als herzlich, aufgeschlossen und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder und Kompliment an ihr Haus. S. Winter / Paderborn

Questo hotel è buono per un soggiorno breve e lungo. Il personale è amichevole e il colazione è grande. Le camere sono abbastanza grandi per un soggiorno confortevole. La distanza a piedi dal centro della città è di circa 20 minuti a piedi. Tutte le strutture sono là. 20 minuti di auto dall'aeroporto con taxi.
