Salvador: i migliori hotel a 5 stelle

Ottimo hotel, ma il servizio pessimo. Nella colazione si deve rimanere pulito tavolo per sedersi e andare dietro a tagliare, non ha abbastanza dipendenti. Tutto è tardi. Non ho mai potuto mangiare il tapioca o l'omeleta che ho chiesto, ci sono voluto più di 45 minuti e ho rinunciato. Il check out oggi è stata una epopeia. ricevimento molto tempo! La struttura dell'hotel è ottima, piscina e camera confortevole!

The Fasano is located next to the Pelourinho, the UNESCO World Heritage Site. This means you can walk to the main sights easily. Old building, nicely renovated, now in modern style. Rooms tend to be on the small side, but are nice and have all you need. Nice rooftop pool with small bar, great views. Breakfast is very good, good choice and good quality. Lunch is ok, but nothing special. Most staff members are very friendly, they try their best to accommodate your needs. Yes there are some hiccups in the service, things got forgotten etc, but as they are very friendly you can live with it. Probably one of the better Fasanos, compared to others, here the staff pay more attention to details and are more client focused. I can recommend this hotel for a nice stay in Salvador, probably the best option in town. I would like to thank Janine, Maria and all other staff members who did their best to make my stay a very nice one.

Fantastic stay! The hotel is beautiful. It is right on the top of the hill of Rio Vermelho and it offers a free service from the hotel to the main street and the other way around. When we arrived we found very nice receptionists. We were initially given an accessible room, we requested to change it as we were there to celebrate our honeymoon. One evening the hotel staff treated us with strawberries, chocolate and 2 brigadeiros ＜3 The room was very nice and clean, with all the comforts. The breakfast, unfortunately, wasn't very good. The quality was poor. The positive thing is that we could order omelettes and tapiocas cooked at the moment. All the staff very nice and friendly. Definitely recommended! :)

Hotel accogliente pulito e posizionato all’inizio del lungomare pedonale. Colazione abbondante e personale Gentile . A disposizione teli mare per la piscina e per il mare. Consiglio di prendere camere ai piani alti fronte mare essendo la strada sottostante abbastanza trafficata.

The Novotel Salvador Hangar Aeroporto best features are its location near the airport, newer facilities than most properties in Salvador, and it operates under the ACCOR hotel brand. Despite these advantages, I must report a unacceptable experience during my stay December 28th to 31st 2022 followed by deplorable managerial customer service in response to verified and documented service failures. I have reported these issues to my travel agency, my corporate travel unit, and my personal travel networks. As I discovered this property using Trip Advisor, I have decided to report this matter for the benefit of my fellow readers. I do not recommend this property for business travelers nor cultural tourism travelers (especially not those seeking afro-Brazilian tourism or those welcoming to the African diaspora). I share some reasons herein: • Unreliable Service: During my stay I experienced one major internet outage over six business hours, as well as minor room outages (less than 30 minutes) on each day of my stay. This hotel was advertised as catering to business travelers, but the hotel provided no updates when internet would be restored despite repeated requests. I did not receive any support to manage the disruption to my teleworking, and personnel were unable/unwilling to facilitate solutions (At one point, I was recommended to use the free internet of one of the shopping malls. Imagine carrying expensive computer equipment to what my taxi driver warned was a “high crime” area). Sadly, the ability of the reception staff to identify solutions was more unreliable than the internet service. • Poor Room Quality: This hotel advertises rooms of high standards of quality, and I am sure many receive good rooms. However, I received a room that was both substandard quality (bathroom sidings and interior furniture water damaged, door malfunction, refrigerator malfunction) and pollutted by the buildings HVAC exhaust being poorly designed, allowing exhaust to flow against rooms on the lower floor (high noise pollution noticeable when sleeping). I believe most guests do not have this experience, as the issue likely affects few rooms on the lower floors. However, when choosing this property, one must ask the question, how does the receptionist decide who receives these rooms which experience high dust inflow and high noise pollution (I have videos and photos available upon request). Why are some customers placed in quality rooms, and others assigned to substandard rooms (noting the hotel has standard room types based on bed requirements)? Why did this hotel property assume that one of their few afro-descendent customers would accept the worst room in the property? • Deplorable Managerial Level Customer Service: Upon checkout, a customer service representative noted my dissatisfaction with my hotel experience, and asked if I would be willing to receive inquires from hotel management the next business day. Se si cerca un hotel con tutti i comfort non troppo lontano dal centro questo hotel è la soluzione ideale. La struttura è un po vecchiotta e i bagni andrebbero rimodernati ma gli spazi comuni sono ampli e confortevoli. Noi siamo andati ad agosto e la piscina era un po freddina ma farsi il bagno con vista sull'oceano è una sensazione bellissima. La nostra stanza familiare era grandissima, con letto king e vista mare, eravamo d'angolo quindi avevamo una finestra grande e un'altra finestra più piccola con una vista mozzafiato. Nella hall c'è un negozio per le emergenze che è stato la nostra salvezza. La colazione è ottima e abbondante e ogni giorno ci sono succhi e piatti nuovi. Dovrebbero migliorare il servizio per preparare la tapioca... le file sono lunghissime...basterebbe avere di quei segnaposto che suonano quando è pronto in modo da evitare di passare mezz'ora in fila. Tornerei sicuramente.

What a wonderful hotel! It’s quite simply beautiful! Although extremely comfortable, there’s an authenticity to the property that more “luxurious” and more expensive nearby hotels lack. I was especially fortunate in that I was given what I understand was the best room in the property, but I was told that all rooms will be updated. The room was spacious, the bed incredibly comfortable and the shower huge. The front-facing view onto the square and church and convent was amazing. The pool is tiny, but fine if no one else is using it. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were all superb. All my contacts – such as the lovely women who serve breakfast and prepare the guest rooms and the helpful accounts manager were tremendous. I would especially praise Javier at the reception. Apart from being extremely interesting, was cheerful, efficient and provided useful information about the hotel and Salvador. The one problem is that of local dining possibilities. The area is very quiet at night and getting to good restaurants involves either a somewhat uneasy walk or a taxi/Uber ride.

Tutto perfetto. Nota 9,5. Per essere nota 10 deve avere un blackout migliore nelle camere, perché la balcone diventa super chiara al sorgere del sole. Abbiamo avuto un problema con la chiusura, perché la carta non ha aperto tre volte e abbiamo dovuto tornare alla Portaria.
