Hotel is old but charming with thoughtful decor. In perfect central location, walking distance to many sites and good restaurants. Breakfast spread was basic but sufficient, would have been nice if there are some small changes everyday instead of exactly the same. Service was excellent although most staff do not speak English. Helped to arranged local metered taxis during my stay.

Hotel muito bem localizado e café da manhã delicioso. O atendimento foi satisfatório. O problema visualizado foi de poucas tomadas na habitação e com mal funcionamento e ocorreu uma falta de energia por algumas horas. Mas, no geral, recomendo, principalmente pela localização e café da manhã.

L'hotel affaccia sulla piazza principale di Salta, ottima posizione per chi vuole visitare la città, anche avendo poco tempo a disposizione. Dispone di parcheggio gratuito presso un parking a 20 metri dall'ingresso. All'interno, è caratterizzato da uno stile vintage e da un'incantevole eleganza sia degli arredi che del personale che ci lavora, richiamando atmosfere di grand hotel d'altri tempi. Pros: A hotel with old world charm & ambience. The room was lovely with a comfy bed & a gorgeous antique wardrobe. Spacious bathroom compared to other places we’ve stayed in Argentina. We had a nice view of the San Francisco Cathedral from the Romeo & Juliet balcony. Cons: Being so close to Plaza 9 de Julio, it was a bit noisy at night. The included breakfast was pretty average.

The hotel is quite charming and well-kept. The staff is really wonderful and helpful in every respect. The location right in the center of Salta is perfect. The only thing that I did not find that great was the breakfast.

Great hotel in the center of Salta with nice large rooms and ditto bathroom, good breakfast

i spent here 2 nights while on business meeting with my collegues. Nice rooms, perfect stay with calm room , nice view and friendly stuff always helpful. i found this hotel as a very good choice for business travel.

We were welcomed bij the hotel host. Very nice reception. Car could be parked in a public parking 25 meters down the square (included in the room price). Breakfast was ok.

The central location could not have been better. The building is eclectic with parlors scattered around and has a particular old-timey charm. It felt a bit like an old victorian boarding house (which it probably was). It was nice to have the kids in their own (adjoining) room. There was a leak in the sink which made a bit of a lake out of the bathroom floor overnight, but we were only there one night so it didn't affect us too much. A/C worked great which made my husband especially happy.

Staff were excellent and super friendly in this authentic hotel in an excellent location.

Perfect location. Restaurants bars and tourism offices just 1 min walking distance. Hotel is very old historical building and kept at good shape. Even I got the best room in the hotel the bathroom was terrible. So narrow, and very tight shower place... My payment selection was "pay at the hotel with local currency"...It was not a good choice. They charge me much more than the price shown on ********* pages. I was forced to use the credit card not to pay more but my choice was spend all my left over Argentinian Pesos. Since I did not accept to pay by credit card I am charged 21% more in cash... Be carefull if you pick Pay At The Hotel option....
