Stayed recently to attend a birthday celebration in Salisbury,Although the weather was dreadful.We received a great welcome and our room was very unique and comfortable.The breakfast was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay and were made very welcome by the owner.Thank you and we would highly recommend it..

A wonderful guest house in Salisbury - I'd challenge anyone to find a better one in the area! We had the ground floor triple suite, being two interconnecting bedrooms with bathroom, ideal for families or friends sharing. There was a fabulous full English breakfast, cooked to order by our lovely hosts. It's a 20ish minute stroll into the city centre, which, by the way, is also fabulous.

This was our favorite accommodation during our nine day trip through England. The family suite was perfect. The house is full of character and the owners could not have been nicer. Breakfast was very well done. You must take time to stroll through the garden. Our stay was a 10 out of 10!

We found this Little Gem by Chance and wasn’t disappointed Mark and Hilary made us most welcome and we had a fantastic night at the beautiful guesthouse followed by a lovely cooked Breakfast we will be returning and continue to use this place on our next Cruise …

Three friends and I stayed for a weekend at The Old House. The best guest house I have ever stayed in. The building and interiors were full of character and extremely comfortable with all modern amenities. Hilary was a wonderful host with great local knowledge. Breakfast was faultless with all it had to offer. The Old House was so good that I can't wait to go back for another visit! Becky S

Great room ,breakfast, and host. Had a wonderful time there and will go back again if we are so lucky. There was a path to get into town the back way, which took us past a stream and a very nice pub for lunch. House is located by a bus stop. Beautiful gardens behind the house to sit and relax.

Visiting my childhood region after sixty years to walk , see and remember this was a wonderful base . The welcome was warm, the beds so comfortable with space and amenities. Breakfast was plentiful and allowed us to start our walking early. The one way system in the city is a bit awkward for a new visitor but parking in the city is fairly strait forward or you can walk from The Old House though that will take around thirty minutes. Salisbury with its Cathedral, Close and theWater Meadows known so well beforehand to Constable painting enthusiasts is , I think ,the loveliest small city in Britain! Thankyou for a great Bed and Breakfast Hotel stay.

Rooms are perfect, very clean and beds very comfortable. Breakfast is plenty and they cater for anyone. Owners are very friendly.Would recommend the guest house if staying in Salisbury.It has parking,but if using public transport bus stops right outside.

The whole experience, was amazing, from being greeted on arrival, to leaving. It felt more like we were house guests, not paying guests. Our hosts were so friendly, the house is beautiful as was our room, with every amenity (am sure if we needed anything, we would have be supplied been supplied with it. The garden area and different seating area was perfect and we took a picnic there in our second evening. Breakfast was great, with ample choice and beautifully cooked. Slept very well and you can either walk in to the City or use the bus, just perfect. Would highly recommend
