Hotel con colazione inclusa a Salisbury

Upon check in found out that my historic room had been given to someone else just before aI got there - then asked if I had requested an historic room - then told to request it next time. After checking in told that there was a two flight walk up - NO LIFTS - usually not a problem but my husband needs a hip replacement so not ideal. Discovered in the middle of the night that there was no spare toilet paper so a hasty 6am visit to reception to get some not welcome. The only ventilation in the room, besides opening the window to the wet air outside, was a $2 fan, which was pretty useless. The room itself was tired and old with ripped curtains and generally needs a good tart up. The internet was pretty bad, and mostly not working. The service was lacklustre and dismissive. If you want an historic room make sure you request it.

NO BREAKFAST! checked in with the lovely polite Louis. Had a good nights sleep. Room was ok. Good size but also was starting to get a little tired here and there with the decor. I stayed in another premier inn the night after this one and it felt much much cleaner and more modern. Paid for breakfast in advance only to be told in the morning that there were very limited breakfast items available. Was directed to reception for a refund. No one on reception. Delivery driver attended who told us this is normal and there is never anyone on reception. Got a refund on check out. I mean… it’s not hard to get breakfast items is it ? The world has not suddenly ran out of croissants and orange juice. Turns out tho.. it has.. there was no breakfast or even dinner in the next hotel either.. its w bit like ordering a pizza with no tomato base or cheese…

Il panorama del fiume è molto buono, l'ambiente di mangiare è buono, e la colazione e la cena sono molto bellissimi.Molto adatto per la gita di famiglia, la figlia ama molto questo hotel.Siamo innamorati di lasciare la stanza

Hotel carino. Stai per tutta la notte dopo un viaggio di giorno per le razza di Salisbury. Il bar si chiude alle 11:00, quindi non è in grado di bere quando siamo tornati e nessun servizio in camera che è un po' deludente, ma c'è un bar e un bel giardino fuori terrazza e giardino che era aperto prima del giorno. Le camere sono eleganti, confortevoli e le camere da bagno e una bella scelta per colazione, anche se 15 sterline extra che, a partire da un soggiorno di 200 sterline per notte, credo avrebbero dovuto essere inclusi.

Needs attention as it is run down and not the lovely grand hotel you expect from the outside (how it used to be)and I appreciate this is a small city hotel but very expensive for a room without breakfast the decor is tatty and although it is a 100 % no smoking hotel the corridors near our room smelt of smoke Car parking was a nightmare with limited space ( all full) and because we arrived after 8p/m the multi storey was closed and the nearest car park was short stay only the very helpful lady in reception let us park in a staff area but you have to pay The room was clean and tidy and bed was comfortable Papers were said to be included in room price but you had to go to reception to pick one up and there were only independent papers no choice of any others There must have been a large party on as breakfast was laid up in the reception/foyer area which wasn’t very nice Such a shame this hotel needs some love really disappointed that Mercure have let it get so run down

La prima cosa da riferire è che le dimensioni delle stanze non sono di 20mq ,come scritto nelle descrizioni dei vari siti. La mia stanza era forse 12/13 mq. La stanza era comunque molto carina e arredata con gusto. Il bagno nuovo e funzionale. Stanza pulita anche se molto calda .Per la caratteristica propria della costruzione le stanze e soprattutto le scale per accedervi , sono decisamente in pendenza!!! La posizione è perfetta e pur non disponendo di un parcheggio privato, c è la possibilità di utilizzare un parcheggio proprio dietro l angolo e il ticket del pagamento viene fatto direttamente dall' hotel . Per 24 ore, 8 sterline.

Una squadra così grande, estremamente amichevole hanno appena ristrutturato le camere e l'hotel I mocktail erano sorprendenti Il cibo è estremamente buono, ho invitato i miei amici locali a cena e pranzo e lo parlavano il giorno dopo, che è sempre un buon segno. Rimango certamente l'unica cosa che dico, le letti/matrix sono estremamente fermi. Ma tutto il resto è perfetto 👌

think long and hard before booking this accommodation, firstly location is great as are the lady,s on reception. we were aloud to prebook the disabled parking onsite , which was good but there it ends. on arrival the manager gary was in reception and my wife and i ( she walks with a stick) checked in (we are in our late seventies) gary gave us room 404 ,small with sloping ceilings and small window that could not be fully opened, the ensuite was small with a loo you could just fit into, loo only flushed after several attempts and the room lock was of the same ilk, but the main concern was the storage of furniture and large blue bags of what looked like linen in a fire escape staircase, we had booked 2 nights but only stayed for one. gary when we spoke to him about these shortcomings said we did not request a disabled room(booking a disabled space assumes a person has a disability) and the other items were all working fine, so be warned if you have a disability and are nearly 80 you to might end up in a 4th floor room of the type we were given.

Sia alla reception che in camera ci ha accolto un'aria condizionata sparata al massimo, quando siamo riusciti a spegnerla in camera c'erano 17 gradi ed è rimasta gelida fino a sera.Abbiamo fatto la doccia al freddo, perchè nonostante fuori ci fossero 25 gradi era impossibile aprire le finestre; non abbiamo potuto cenare in struttura perchè il ristorante era completo, ma a piedi si raggiungono diversi locali. I mobili erano impolverati e per terra la solita moquette...insomma standard di pulizia lontani da quelli italiani. Anche a colazione aria condizionata al massimo; l'offerta del cibo era invece varia e siamo stati soddisfatti.

We stayed for 2 nights, family of 3 adults and 2 children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the apartment loft with 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed. The room was clean when we arrived, a cot and highchair was already in the room and there was even a baby blanket which was a lovely touch. My eldest son slept on the sofa bed which was more than adequate for him however I would say this is only suitable for a child. We all slept very well, the beds were comfy and despite it being on the main road it was extremely quiet inside. I will definitely stay here again when we come and visit for our yearly family trip. If you stay during the warmer months then I would suggest bringing a portable fan, the air coolers provided aren’t great but we did bring our own fans and slept with the windows open. Everything you need is provided. A fabulous stay.
