Hotel in zona Tamarac Marina, Salisbury

Checking in was terrible, the concierge was overwhelmed that the hotel was at full capacity. The keys did not work to enter the room, I went back to the front desk where their were other guests complaining that their key would not allow them to enter as well, when entering our room we were upset by the smell of smoke as my daughter and I are asthmatic. I returned again to the front desk to voice my concerns regarding the smell of smoke and was told that the “facility is a non-smoking facility and that’s why we charge $250 if they smoke in the room”. I asked if she should come down and smell the room and she replied, “I am a smoker so I wouldn’t be able to smell/tell”. She then said, “you can just get some spray and spray the room”, she did apologize and said that “I could speak to the manager the next morning”! As well as apologizing for the “hotel being full and not being able to move us to another room”. Around 10:00 pm, we heard someone trying to open our door, thank goodness I had it double locked. A few minutes later we heard talking and then someone knocking, I asked who is it? She replied, “hotel management “? We were already in bed. She then asked what was my last name? And left. The next morning, day of check out, the breakfast area was at full capacity and in complete disarray, we arrived at 9:20 am, not much food in the serving dishes, when another guest asked if they were going to replenish, the staff replied, “no, it takes 35 minutes for the eggs to cook and breakfast is over at 10:00”. “You should have come down earlier”. With that response to the guests, my daughter and I decided to leave. As I go to check out, I ask if the person checking me out is the manager, she replied, “yes”, she asked for my room number and when I told her she couldn’t find my information. HOWEVER, the night person had spoken to her regarding the smoke issue. To make matters even worse, she still couldn’t find where I had checked in. I had packed my car and asked if I could return and get my phone for the confirmation number, etc., when I went back in the “manager” said, “oh I found you”, “ I see you called and extended your stay for another night”??? That will be $173.??” By this time I’m extremely flabbergasted, not to mention late for the wedding rehearsal for my daughter. I said to this “manager”, no, I’m checking out today, I paid online and told her how much I had paid for the one night stay 11/25/22 checking out 11/26/22. Her reply WAS, “YOU WERE IN THE WRONG ROOM YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE IN ROOM 207”!'!! By this time I was beyond flabbergasted and just angry! Again she asked what room I was in and I told her, her response even more Ridiculous…”so you are staying another night”? No, I stayed last night in room 105 which was not acceptable due to the smoke smell and was not the room that I had paid for, I did not stay in room 207 and I did not call you to extend my stay another night, could I please have my receipt? Here it comes….the manager replied, “IM SORRY I CANT GIVE YOU A RECEIPT BECAUSE YOU BOOKED ONLINE! “ AND, “If you had opened your door last night I told the girl last night that she could have given your money back so that you could have stayed somewhere else”. “I can give you 10% in coins for your next stay with us”. At this point I was furious. No thank you! I Would definitely not recommend this particular CHOICE HOTEL In Salisbury, NC. Angie S. Marietta, GA

Avendo dovuto fare un viaggio in zona due volte in un mese per lavorare, ero prenotato al HIE. Ho avuto un piacevole soggiorno in entrambe le occasioni. L'hotel è ben tenuto e arredato. Grande colazione opzioni. Il personale del desk front era tutto utile e accogliente. In particolare, Kathy è andata sopra e oltre per fornire il suo sostegno e l’assistenza. Era molto utile e paziente quando prenotava una stanza per la mia famiglia durante il mio viaggio di ritorno e mi consigliava di ricevere la prenotazione più efficace e di avere la qualità del sonno sulla loro mattinata. Dopo una notte di sonno, mi sveglio di solito con una stretta attenzione nel retro inferiore, ma non ho avuto problemi dopo una notte di riposo. Dopo aver detto questo a Kathy, lei ha aiutato davvero a trovare il sito dove potevo comprare le loro matite. Quando sarei in quest'area, rimarrei certamente qui.

Everything was great. Room was clean. Hotel Lobby was clean. In town for a softball tournament and was a little late checking out and Bobbi was understanding about it. When checking in, I was sick and she made the check in easy. My son enjoyed the pool and wants to stay again for 8 weeks ( He's 5 l 😁).

Bel posto per un passo mattina dietro l'hotel ma a notte sono passato per le api vicine e prendervi la vita nelle mani sulle strade , il colazione è buono una volta ma al terzo giorno avrei avuto abbastanza e volevo qualcosa di sano , camere e persone erano buone

L'ambiente circostante è buono, è un po' lontano dalla mostra.

In primo luogo, vorrei dire che il personale del front desk era fantastico, coraggioso, efficiente e in modo adeguato al loro servizio, tutto era da lì. La zona di colazione aveva tutte le tavole e sedie in piedi contro il muro, così non potevano essere usate.La macchina del caffè era andata, il frigorifero con bevande fredde (per l'acquisto) era vuoto, la macchina del ghiaccio era smontata, la piscina era chiusa, la sala di allenamento è stata chiusa ....ALL NON IL NAME DI COVID. Per togliere il colazione ”servendo” non aveva uno, ma due dispositivi elettronici che occupavano il suo tempo, e interrompendola ha portato al rullaggio dei suoi occhi. No, ”Posso aiutarvi, per favore, O qualcosa che sembrava servizio al cliente. Lentamente si alzò e disse: ”Cosa vuoi?”, a cui dovevamo chiedere quali erano le opzioni. Non c'era succo (il succo deve causare Covid), il caffè da soli era disponibile, quindi perché non durante il giorno e la sera? La tavola che era troppo grande per spingere contro il muro era mantenuta sporca, quindi nessuno voleva usarla. Condividendo un ascensore con altri ospiti, ho commentato quanto fosse brutta la persona che si occupava di questo. L'altro ospite rideva e disse: “Oggi è in buona salute, tu avresti dovuto essere qui ieri!”. Anche io ho salutato la signora di pulizia con un buon giorno solo per essere me con un fulmine. Sono rimasto 2 notti per affari, ma avrei cambiato se fosse un'opzione. Usare Covid come scusa per tagliare i vostri servizi è abominioso. Altri hotel a Charlotte offrono tutte le attrazioni, ma con cautela. Il posto è una battuta, e non tornerò mai. Nessuno!

The guy at the front desk was rude and uninterested. We got to the room and the key unlocked the door, but the door wouldn't open. While my husband went back to the front desk, two more people on the floor had to kick or shove their doors open. It took us 4 tries to get in the room. Maybe we should have stayed in the hall, because the room was awful. The ”mobility accessible” room barely allowed my wheelchair to pass. When I entered the bathroom in my wheelchair, there was no room to close the bathroom door, it was that small. The sink didn't drain. The bathtub was dirty. The walls were dirty. There was a weird odor in the halls and the room. People were fighting and screaming in the hallway, hitting the walls and our door. The hotel staff called the police, it was that bad. There was another screaming match at 3 AM, and another call to the police. They are probably on speed dial. The ice machines weren't on each floor, you had to go back to the lobby. There was supposed to be a hair dryer in the room, but there wasn't. There wasn't even an alarm clock. The entire experience was just awful.
