SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Salida

Room was clean and comfortable. A very nice continental breakfast. Plenty of parking available. Staff was very friendly. Our room was very quiet.

The hotel seemed to have updates all around the hotel. The staff was great and willing to assist when needed. Our group was treated as family. I would recommend anyone to stay at this property. Definitely one of the best places to stay in Salida.

We stopped at the Hampton Inn in Salina on a Sunday night. We were told that they were booked. Very few cars in the lot and I could have stood in front by of the desk and made a reservation online. Either you have a problem with your computer system or employees that don’t understand the system.

Average Hampton Inn but way above average pricing. Internet was down in the evening and still down the next morning. No business center and breakfast was pretty bad. I ended up eating at McDonald's across the street.

This newer/updated Hampton sits on a busy street and is about a mile, quite pleasant, walk from the river and eateries/breweries of downtown. Nothing really stood out as overly great about the stay but the breakfast stood out as overly abysmal--coffee was out, OJ was out--just spitting water--there were no bread products, and the eggs and bacon (not sure if that was 'real' bacon) were just sad.

The customer service provide here was OUTSTANDING especially from Pat that works at the front desk. The room was very clean and it's very convenient located right off Highway 50 if your passing through town. The breakfast gentleman kept the dining are cleaned and the food items full. If your staying on the 2nd floor I would recommend parking in the front because that the ground level for the 2nd floor but if you enter from the back to check-in at the front desk then that is the 1st floor. The requests that I had Pat called me and really tried to work with me to ensure that I get a room that I would want. If you're planning on staying in this area I would definitely recommend this hotel and if I stay in Salida again, I will stay here!

So happy this hotel is once again a Hampton. For a few years it was independently owned and it was a mess. All rooms have been updated and are spotlessly clean. Breakfast is once again up to Hampton standards. Alissa and Andrea at the front desk were absolute rock stars at check in. Alissa moved heaven and earth to get us in our favorite room, even though the hotel was booked solid. Beautiful views of Mount Antero in a huge suite. They even checked in with us later to make sure everything was great. Top shelf customer service! Once again, this Hampton is our Colorado home.

Just completed a 3-day stay at this renovated hotel in Salida for a car rally. There is ample, well-lit parking behind the hotel, the people at reception were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, clean and offered a wonderful view of the mountains across the spring green of all the trees along the river behind the hotel. The included breakfast was pretty standard, but it was adequate to start the day. There are multiple good restaurants within walking distance. A very pleasant stay in a lovely town. We will return.

This is just a wonderful place to stay in Salida. Great location, quick/easy parking lot, swift check-in, did recognize top Hilton Diamond Status. Wonderful, very clean rooms, easy to use TV, TASTY HOT & DELICIOUS breakfast spread. GM came to introduce herself to me and colleague. We look forward to our return! Again, thank you SYLVIE!
