Salamanca: i migliori hotel con palestra

Bellissimo hotel in pieno centro storico. Tutte le principali attrazioni a pochi passi! Personale sempre gentile, attento e disponibile ad aiutarci con le valigie, l'auto e raccomandazioni su ristoranti e turismo. Camere ampie e comode. Colazione deliziosa degna degli hotel Nh. Raccomandato a coloro che vogliono godersi il loro soggiorno a Salamanca in piena comoditá!

Siamo stati in quest'hotel con delle buone aspettative trattandosi di un 5 stelle, e siamo rimasti favorevolmente sorpresi dalla estrema professionalità, accuratezza ed accoglienza. l'hotel è elegante, pulito e curato nei minimi dettagli. la gestione, di stampo familiare, cura la clientela in maniera esemplare, dando informazioni su come muoversi e cosa fare a Salamanca, dando ogni tipo di supporto e coccola ai clienti. la posizione è eccellente, giusto a ridosso delle mura storiche a 3 minuti a piedi dalla cattedrale. la colazione è fantastica, tutti prodotti di qualità, serviti in abbondanza. Insomma, davvero eccellente. infine le tariffe sono per niente care data la qualità del servizio offerto. Consigliatissimo!!!

The Parador building is plush and the views from the Superior rooms are wonderful. It is an easy walk into the sites-assuming you are relatively mobile. There is a nice terrace for drinks-with the view across to the Cathedral. However, we have stayed in a few Paradores and this left us a little disappointed. There is no water in the room or tea/coffee as we have had in some, but the main problem was the dining area for breakfast. It is extremely cramped and very noisy. Some younger staff who could maybe benefit from a bit more training-the young guy doing omelettes one day was actually funny he was so laid back. No option to eat breakfast outside either. This is our first stay in a city parador so maybe this accounts for it but I would not book again.

The hotel's location is excellent, within easy walking distance of everything in Salamanca's historic centre. At the same time it is very quiet with good soundproofing. We booked a superior room which was spacious with a comfortable sofa as well as a very wide and comfortable bed. The pillows were super comfortable too. There was an electric kettle as well as a coffee machine, and a small fridge., bathrobes and slippers and even a little box of 2 Lindt chocolates. The bathroom had a large walk in shower with dual rain head and hand held shower heads. Everything was very clean and we heard no noise from housekeeping staff servicing nearby rooms in the mornings. We very much appreciated being able to check in to our room immediately when we arrived at 12.30 pm, having expected to need to drop off our luggage and return to check in later. Check out time was not until 12.00 pm which avoided the need to rush and we were able to leave our luggage stored for another few hours. The price/quality ratio offered by this hotel is extremely good. There were very few negative points and only minor ones. The water pressure in the shower could have been more powerful and the washbasin counter had a strange angled surface at one side which made access to the wc slightly awkward. The volume limiter on the TV remote control was set so low that I could not hear it at all even when standing right next to the TV. I appreciate the need to avoid excessive noise for neighbouring rooms but I think the volume could be raised slightly without inconveniencing other guests.

If you like the historical aspect, this is an old monastery or convent that has been repurposed as a hotel in the university city of Salamanca. It has a huge courtyard on a steep, but walkable, hill and is attached to other historical buildings. The room itself is large and comfortable with excellent beds and pillows. We had a French balcony that overlooked the cathedral and has a fridge and safe. The bathroom is very modern, and we loved the plush bath sheets. Though we didn't go down to it, the hotel is very near the river, also within walking distance to the Plaza Major that has lots of cafes but less retail. The whole area is filled with 15th century buildings that are cathedrals, universities or used for student housing. It is a maze of narrow streets and alleys - so besides our guided tour, we did not venture very far from the hotel during our one night stay, though we understand it to be very safe. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel. The breakfast was outstanding, as you willl note from the pictures. The hotel has a large reception and lobby area that swings around to the breakfast room. The hallways are rather dark, and it is a bit of a maze to find your room. perfect for one night, amid centuries of history.
