Astor Garden Hotel

Nice hotel and good breakfast, the inly problem is to many insects in the room and also the window door need to be fixed before the guest is coming to the room.

Everything there is good.

A BAD BAD EXPERIENCE - NEVER GO BACK HERE Let's start in chronological order: you arrive at the hotel, but you need to be careful because there are many options that the GPS provides you (here I was lucky that a friend who was already staying at the hotel shared their location from the parking lot near the reception), paid parking where you need to take a parking ticket that needs to be validated at checkout to avoid charges (I don't know what to do if you want to drive around nearby places, maybe you can validate it every time you go to the reception, but I'm skeptical that it would work); the first interaction with the reception staff follows (they are a bit awkward in communicating in English, but we somehow understand each other), there is no bellboy or person to help you with your luggage as you typically see in 5-star hotels, not that I needed one (I did see someone later in the corridors, but they didn't do anything, and also another guest carrying their luggage on their own rollbox - ridiculous). After a normal wait, I finally receive the room and to my surprise, even though I paid for a sea view, I get a room on the ground floor with a view of the bar terrace and the access stairs (I mention that there are Astor Garden Villas between the hotel and the sea that block the view); I return to the reception where the staff is aggressive in their language, and they tell me that you can see the sea... I manage to convince them to come with me to the room and they show me that you can actually see a small portion of the sea if you make an effort... with frustration, I manage to persuade them to give us another room... which turns out to be on the first floor where I can see a bit more of the sea (although Astor Garden Villas are still quite visible)... I give up and accept the room that was given to me (I regret it now because later, being above the restaurant, the noise was terrible - tourists dragging metal chairs early in the morning or employees throwing dishes and cutlery as if they wanted to break them - they did this throughout the day in the restaurant or outside); Spacious room, new furniture, clean (when I received the room), after that I was constantly chasing the housekeepers to clean or change towels and replenish shampoo, toilet paper, drinking water, etc.; I asked for cleaning on the second-to-last day of stay and was told they would finish tomorrow and couldn't do it - another drawback), large bathroom with a shower cabin and a bathtub (the bathtub doesn't have a shower head) and when you shower, water splashes everywhere in the bathroom, making it very slippery; I also wish the carpet wasn't so rough when you step on it barefoot; ATTENTION!! There's a minibar in the room, but everything inside is chargeable, so maybe make a small inventory when you enter to avoid paying for things you didn't consume, the air conditioning in the room, as well as in the hotel, seems to be working with the brakes on, it doesn't cool enough, and i

the hotel looks like 5 stars, but the services are at most 3 stars:   - the hotel's official beaches are public, not private (all): one is full, you have to wake up at 7 o'clock to get a sunbed, and not in front, and the second one is in a bay and is full of algae and has no beach bar. they have a third beach, but it is secret. if you catch yourself it's theirs good if not bad luck, we noticed after 3 days that there were also hotel towels, although most of them were with paid towels (I keep them for profit). only on one of the beaches they have a beach bar where you can only drink water, juice and beer and they put some fruit and some muffins every day. - the food is according to the model that catches: I only saw the salmon plate (a salami plate appeared in its place) and the clam pot with 3 empty shells, and this one hour before the final time for dinner. every evening there were dishes that ran out and were not even replaced with something else (this with the replacement was the order of the day - that is, you saw something on someone's plate but you couldn't find it until it was your turn and even later put). all the salads had some strange recipes (like tomato and cucumber salad with grilled game or cabbage salad with grated cheese), you could hardly find a simple one. - cleaning is done many times on request (in the last 2 days they haven't added shampoo, shower gel) and they told my friend that tomorrow is finish day - when she asked to change the towels - the staff doesn't know English - not even the restaurant manager... few understood what you were saying - 3 gathered to understand - beach towels can only be changed once a day (a table is made with the room number) - at the restaurant they always ask you for the room number - I don't quite understand why...

Hotel Astor Garden oferuje doskonały stosunek jakości do ceny i jest wspaniałym miejscem na wypoczynek. Wnętrza oraz teren wokół hotelu (ogród, baseny, zewnętrzna restauracja) zostały starannie urządzone, z dużą dbałością o szczegóły, co sprawia, że „chce się tam być”. Pokoje są przestronne (z bardzo dużymi łóżkami) i dobrze wyposażone (bezpłatny sejf, barek, lodówka, waga itp.). Na balkonie oprócz stolika i krzeseł jest także suszarka. Kosmetyki w łazience są codziennie uzupełniane. Również ręczniki są codzienne wymieniane (mimo, że nigdy nie zostawiliśmy ich na podłodze oczekując wymiany). Zarówno w pokojach jak i częściach ogólnodostępnych jest bardzo czysto. Jedynym relatywnie słabym punktem hotelu jest czystość naczyń (tj. szklanek, sporadycznie filiżanek) w restauracji. Zdarza się, że szklanki są niedomyte (albo źle wypłukane). Natomiast hotelowe jedzenie jest rewelacyjne! Potrawy są urozmaicone. Codziennie goście mają bardzo duży wybór dań, więc każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Wszystko jest świeże i we właściwej temperaturze. Dodatkowym atutem są owoce. Borówki, truskawki, czereśnie – cieszą nie tylko oko, ale i podniebienie. Co więcej, jedzenie i napoje są dostępne niemalże na okrągło. Nawet jeśli ktoś „przegapi” posiłek, może zaspokoić głód w barze przy basenie lub ugasić pragnienie np. w hotelowym lobby. Hotel położony jest w spokojnej, cichej okolicy, w ciągu nowych zabudowań stanowiących spójną całość. Jeśli komuś zależy na bardziej „rozrywkowym” otoczeniu, bez problemu i w krótkim czasie może udać się do pobliskiej Warny lub Złotych Piasków (przed hotelem znajduje się postój taksówek, poza tym w odległości kilkuset metrów jest przystanek autobusowy). Plaża dla gości hotelowych jest oddalona od hotelu o jakieś 100-150 metrów. Niestety, bar z którego mogą korzystać goście, nie jest w żaden sposób oznaczony i wiedzieliśmy o jego istnieniu tylko dzięki wcześniejszej lekturze opinii o hotelu. Szkoda, że w hotelu nie ma informacji o oferowanych animacjach czy występach. Przez cały czas naszego pobytu tablica informacyjna przy restauracji nie została zaktualizowana, stąd zakładaliśmy, że hotel nie oferuje tego typu atrakcji (z wyjątkiem zabaw dla dzieci, bo te były codziennie). Tymczasem w hotelu organizowane były występy różnych muzyków. Mieliśmy okazję posłuchać popisów gitarzysty, pianisty i flecistki grających standardy muzyki rozrywkowej i nie tylko. Z powodu braku stosownej informacji, na każdy z występów trafiliśmy przez przypadek i żałowaliśmy, że nie mogliśmy obejrzeć ich w całości. Być może ominęły nas także inne oferowane przez hotel atrakcje… Jeśli chodzi o pracowników hotelu, to byli sympatyczni, uprzejmi i pomocni. Podsumowując, pobyt w hotelu uważamy za bardzo udany. Chętnie do niego wrócimy i z czystym sumieniem wszystkim polecamy.
