Hôtel - Spa Les Corderies

Nice property, with a very pleasant garden and a nice view, but with high prices in the spa and in the restaurant (a special order for a simple ratatouille (for my veg partner) was charged at 39 € !!!!!)

This was our second trip to Les Corderies, which is a lovely modern hotel with fantastic views. We stayed in a Stunning View room, on the first floor of the spa annex. The views are indeed stunning from the Juliet balcony. The room design is very stark, which makes the view the focus. The bed was super king size and comfortable. The shower room and separate loo were very nice, with good toiletries. We had great weather, so enjoyed a drink in the garden both evenings - more great views over the estuary and lovely surroundings. We also enjoyed a late evening Calvados in the garden, with lovely service from the lady who was also working on the reception. Our only quibble was that we found the dinner to be overpriced. With starters at about €18 and mains at €39, we were expecting some great things. In fact, my cod and my partner’s steak dishes were not very special. Nothing to warrant a complaint at the time, but disappointing. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of continental options and some enticing looking cake.

The room can only be really described as students accommodation, the over cluttered small room, with single beds pushed together ( which in the hotel’s view constitutes a large double!), Sliding window and room door that you are NOT able to lock. There are No smoke detectors in room, and the shower room & toilet has an un-useable shaving mirror (that is unless you are 5ft 1 inch which sadly I am not, this is due to it lack of height movement) the entrance is a sliding door which when opened covers the bedroom mirror, compact & bijou is most definitely an understatement when attempting to describe the lack of space and more to the point comfort or should I say lack of it !!!. This is definitely a place to recommend to somebody you Really DO NOT like. The restaurant serves nice food but don’t expect to be treated as if you are paying €130 (excluding drinks) by the waiter’s unless you arrive in an expensive sports car.

Propreté du lieu, bienveillance de l’équipe, confort des espaces… Les Corderies sont situés en ville, tout en étant situé sur le haut de St Valerie permettant une vue imprenable sur la baie de Somme et offrant aussi des instants contemplatifs privés.

très jolie chambre propre bien équipé personnel à l écoute et serviable un sans faute nous reviendrons avec plaisir un très belle endroit calme à proximité du centre ville et une très très bonne table j insiste une cuisine excellente ainsi que le service à table

Nous y avons passé le réveillon du nouvel an. Menu « gastronomique »( surtout pour les quantités) servi sur plus de 4h avec une demande de venir pour 19h45, quel intérêt?! Nous sommes partis avant la fin. Rapport qualité/prix inadéquat. Personnel agréable. La chambre confort est spacieuse mais la vue sur le parking ne fait pas rêver. D’une manière générale, les prix ne sont pas justifiés.
