Hotel Restaurant le Clos de Pradines

The staff is very nice and the place is super quiet. The pool is great after a hot day visiting.

Bedrooms old, carpet very used cheap uncomfortable bed, no towel change until i leard to leave it in sink, housekeeping left my windows wide open with roof access, i could have had everything stolen. Staff fantastic. Spend the money and upgrade the rooms.

What a delightful find - this is a treasure! We found it b accident driving through France and could not have been happier. The restaurant was closed that night so we are directed to a marvelous place down the hill and it was wonderful. The town is worth some time - small and charming!

It was wonderful - the property is beautiful and the staff goes above and beyond. The food in the restaurant is top-notch, which I was not expecting. I would definitely stay here again and recommend wholeheartedly.

What can I say about this hotel that is of a positive nature ? Nothing, I'm afraid. First advice: do not trust the pictures on their website as they do not make justice to the disaster this hotel really is. We booked based on their website pictures and were fooled by the outrageous price into thinking the quality would be in line. Not to the slightest. (we paid 270 euros including average quality dinner for one with one glass of house wine) We arrived late and had to negotiate a substantial flight of stairs all the way up to reception. Thankfully neither me nor my husband are handicapped (no handicap access to be seen anywhere unless they consider the back access to the swimming pool past the garbage bins as one ...) The decoration is a joke, a mix of a bad version of Cirque du Soleil with a garage sale from my odd auntie. The bedroom ? Well, I don't even know where to start, from the bed headboard that does not match the size of the mattress to the ridiculous furniture all around ... I don't think I have stayed in a worst place in my life. To add insult to injury my husband got Legionnaire's disease and this is actually the only place where he could have got it. When I called, after he got out of hospital where he stayed for 10 days fighting for his life, the manager's reaction was defensive and of complete denial mentioning it was impossible as they comply with the law, etc etc. But out of interest, he never asked for our name, date of stay or any other personal details so he could at the very least isolate the room and call the relevant authorities as an urgent matter as this is a potentially deadly disease. He held onto his guns and that was it. As a side comment, Legionnaire's is a bacteria which may be present in either water pipes or jacuzzis or in unclean AC units. In our case it is in the AC unit because we were so disappointed with the bedroom we did not even take a shower in the morning, instead we left early and went back home. Proof hopefully will be provided in due course as the relevant French Health Depar**ent has been directly notified by the hospital where my husband was treated. So. That brings me back to my review's title. Run for your life ! Literally.

Cadre et bâtisse superbes, charmant même. Chambre PMR pas mal mais des détails pratiques et d’accessibilité à revoir, pas très pratique pour une personne seule. Bon accueil mais au vu du tarif pour 3 nuits, un petit geste comme le parking offert ou ne serait-ce qu’un café aurait été appréciable. Un bel endroit tout de même considérant qu’il est difficile de trouver quelque chose de correct et d’ouvert pendant les fêtes loin des grandes villes.

Un hôtel qui vieillit mal. J'y suis retournée après 16 ans et bien je suis déçue. Volets qui se craquellent et ne ferment plus, murs à ravaler, plage de piscine envahie de mauvaises herbes... Par contre l'intérieur de l'hôtel n'a pas changé et reste confortable même si la literie récente est très ferme ! Baignoire vintage. Déception sur le restaurant ou on vous sert un magret sans vous demander la cuisson désirée et où le magret arrive... gris donc beaucoup trop cuit ! Pichet de vin ordinaire à 19 euros, ce qui est abusif. Dessert et entrée satisfaisants tout ça pour 36 euros. Enfin le parking de l'hôtel est payant pour les clients de l'hotelà 4 euros par jour ce qui est abusif car on ne peut pas se garer ailleurs dans le village. Bref grosse déception.

Alors on ne va pas se mentir … expérience décevante … les photo du site datent « d un autre temps » … le lieu est sublime mais pas entrenu à sa juste valeur … l espace piscine bof … mais ça passe - le plus gênant c est quand même la propreté assez limite de la chambre notamment des dessus de lits et coussins de lits qui eux aussi datent « d un autre temps » … odeurs dans les toilettes … bref décevant malgré la sympathie du personnel on s attend à un niveau plus élevé quand on arrive sur ce lieu magnifique …
