St. Petersburg: hotel con bar

Abbiamo goduto tutto di questo hotel storico: la stanza, il lobby pieno di arte e i riferimenti al suo passato facile da parlare, il pastore, il bar, il confortevole, coperto di fronte, la piscina e le fontane, Il cibo e le bevande servivano la piscina, il personale amichevole e gli ospiti amichevole che abbiamo incontrato. Inoltre, l'olandese è perfettamente situato a St. Pete, che si trova nel centro storico della città vicino al quartier generale della mia azienda e vicino a grandi destinazioni come il Museo Salvador Dali, la galleria di vetro Chihuly e il centro d'arte Morean. Amo le città storiche e gli hotel boutique come i Hollander. Le camere degli hotel storici sono spesso più piccole di quelle degli hotel in catena, ma sono più che compensate con le loro personalità uniche e le loro atmosfere intime, che mi lasciano con vivaci ricordi dei miei soggiorni in questi dolci alloggi e nelle città che hanno Chiamate a casa.

Il servizio è stato ottimo. Questo hotel era immacolato. Il personale stava praticando le Precauzioni COVID. Il personale era molto cordiale. Non abbiamo mangiato perché pensavamo che la cucina fosse chiusa ma forse era aperta. questo era su di noi dato che non abbiamo chiesto. La piscina era molto pulita e piacevole. il quartiere non è il migliore ma nemmeno il peggiore. Gli alberi intorno alla proprietà riparano l'hotel dalla strada e dai rumori. Abbiamo una famiglia lì, quindi ci torneremo sicuramente. in realtà prenotando ora per questo fine settimana.

Doveva andare in zona per aiutare nostra figlia e la sua famiglia dopo gli orrori recenti. Abbiamo solo bisogno di un hotel per una notte, ma il ragazzo ne aveva bisogno! Il personale era fantastico, ma gentile, professionale e personale. La stanza era anche grande. Con il mio status di Titanio, ci fu offerta una camera di aggiornamento che abbiamo preso. La stanza era pulita, comoda e aveva un bel bagno per le docce molto necessarie dopo aver lavorato alla casa di nostra figlia tutto il giorno dopo essere stata inondata. L'hotel aveva appena avuto il potere di girare il giorno prima, così ci sono stati fan in tutto il mondo, ma questo era completamente comprensibile e previsto. Se dovessi trovare un negativo, sarebbe stato obbligatorio parcheggio valet. Credete che questo sia dovuto a parcheggio limitato nella zona e solo a negativo perché abbiamo dimenticato un paio di cose nel nostro veicolo. Uno dei più bello Courtyard soggiorni che abbia avuto e sicuramente il miglior personale

We visited St. Pete right after Hurricane Helene. We called to be sure that the hotel was not affected and were happy to learn that downtown St. Pete was unscathed and open for business. Check-in was pleasant and efficient. The gentlemen at the desk were very friendly and helpful. The lobby area is attractive in a modern, low key way with plenty of seating. The location is within walking distance of Starbucks, Publix, the marina and area parks, and a myriad of restaurants and clubs. It is also across the street from the concert venue, Jannus Live. There was a show while we were there, but the sound was not audible in our room, though you could hear it outside the hotel. The neighborhood seemed quite safe. Self parking is available in the garage for $22/night. You swipe your key card before you drive in. We reserved a king corner room and were pleased with the choice. There was a good sized sitting area with a sofa bed, full size desk, ample closet and drawer space, and a mini refrigerator and microwave. A decorative half screen divides the living and sleeping areas. The king bed is flanked by lamps and nightstands on both sides. There were only two USB ports which was not really enough. The bed’s mattress was unfortunately not very firm. On the other hand, the pillows were. The hotel does not have balcony rooms, but we had beautiful views of the water through the large windows. If you are someone who needs a 100% dark room to sleep, you may want to bring a sleep mask because light does slip in through the shades. The bathroom is well-appointed with toiletries. There’s a large shower, but no bath, which neither of us missed. The bathroom has a pocket door which slides open immediately if you don’t latch it correctly. Be sure the door is properly latched before doing anything private. Housekeeping was thorough and prompt. The women who cleaned our room were friendly and professional. One even left a thank you note for her tip! The pool area is on the 7th floor. It’s a long, narrow pool that was very clean. The lounges are adequate, but not plush. Breakfast is included but we had breakfast appointments every day, so we never took advantage of that. The buffet breakfast looked fairly standard. Our overall experience was very positive and the areas for improvement are minor. We are already planning to return.

Short review: This hotel overcharged me $2,278.20 and did not want to help me resolve this. It's been 1 week since I checked out, I still don't have the money, so I had to call my bank to try to figure it out. The Rooms are ok and breakfast serving staff, maintenance and housekeeping were friendly. Long review: I am assuming this Tru by Hilton does not want to pay fair wages, and they have to hire anyone and those employees (front desk) look like they hate the job. Therefore, customer service sucks so bad and employees are not educated or trained to do the job. I stayed 2 times. One time for 5 nights and another time a week later for 24 nights. When I checked in both times, 2 different employees looked very miserable and indifferent at their desk. I did not expect extraordinary customer service, but I expected a greeting and explanation of rules, deposits, breakfast time, etc, and that obviosly did not happen. Apparently, this 2 star hotel is charging $50 per night deposit. I am still not able to believe that. I stayed for 24 nights. I expected my credit card to be charged $4,031.93 upon checking in and parking at the end of the stay (this happened during the 1st stay and I figured it would be the same the next time). What actually happened is that my card was charged 13 times with random amounts over the course of 24 days, and those charges were difficult to keep track of. Very strange. I'd rather pay all $4k at once. A few days into my stay I asked a morning employee about that and they told me that this is a normal procedure with big amounts. OK. I am still unaware of $50/day, I mean any educated employee would make sure to inform about that taking into consideration the 24-night stay. Fast forward to 4 days before the check out, I am calculating all those posted charges (not even pending), and it comes out to a little more than $6,380 (my final receipt including parking was $4,802.40) so I am confused and nervous. I assumed it was a glitch in the system, so I called both CS and front desk, both of them told me ”I don't see any other charges than $4,031.93, and I can't see your bank charges” (like duh, of course you can't that''s why I am calling). It was a very aggressively-speaking lady that stated she was the manager on a Sunday at around noon on 9/29. I don't think she was the manager, and she could have just simply said ”Let me get your contact info and my manager will contact you later regarding this issue”. It would be great. But it did not happen and I was offered zero solution or help. Still did not mention the deposit per day. I decided to wait and see maybe all those charges will be reimbursed after checkout. A day after checkout all the charges are posted and suddenly the total of those charges comes up to $7,080.60. And my receipt after check out is $4,802.40. That's $2,278.20 difference. Even if they charged me $50/day, that would be only $1,200. And those would be pending, not posted. I don't know about you, but $2k is a lo

NEVER EVER stay at Skybeach Hotel & Marina located at 6800 Sunshine Skyway Ln St. Petersburg, FL 33711. You will regret it! We booked a one night stay last Friday and totally regretted doing so. The customer service led by their manager/supervisor is very misleading and she lies through her teeth in spite of evidence contradicting what she is saying. After we checked in, we took a stroll around the beachfront property. In spite of paying a resort fee, we couldn’t swim because the water looked like a swamp with an unpleasant smell (see picture). We pointed out our disappointment to the manager/supervisor by showing her the horrible state of the water. She told us that it will be great and beautiful in the morning but the accompanying picture show otherwise. Around 11:00 pm, the A/C in our room stopped working and although we changed room, she never considered our inconvenience. At around 1:40 am, the fire alarm came on and woke us up. There was also no electricity in any of the rooms. Thinking it may have been a fire, we rushed outside with some valuables and saw other guests standing around. A few minutes later, the security guard drove by to assure us that there was no fire and the alarm came on because of a power outage. Power eventually returned about 2:00 am and it was a struggle to get back to sleep. Paying so much money and not being able to sleep at night is very unfair. On checking out, we shared our total disappointment to the staff and was told that she couldn’t provide any form of compensation without the manager’s approval. Both management and staff showed no care or concern for our inconvenience and no willingness to do anything that would encourage guests to return to their property. Don’t be fooled by the word ‘resort’ — Skybeach hotel is not a resort. You can use that money to get something far better in the area.

MOLD; NON-RESPONSIVE MGMT: We booked the Ponce de Leon hotel recently (June 8th 2024). We were attending a concert at Jannus Live and the hotel is very conveniently located for this venue. We checked in and immediately noticed a strong smell of MOLD in our room. We let the staff at front desk know but the hotel was completely sold out so they were not able to switch rooms for us. We hurried to the concert (as we were late). After the concert, we returned to the hotel and tried to stay but it was impossible for us to sleep there as I suffer badly with asthma and the mold would have made me sick. We decided to check out and drive home. We went to the front desk, re-explained the situation with the room and requested a refund for the night. The staff completely understood our situation and said that they would let the manager know, as they had no authority to give us a refund. Since then, I have tried to contact the manager at the hotel. I have left several messages and have never had my calls returned. Expedia’s customer service was also unsuccessful in reaching anyone at the hotel. We were never refunded. We understand that this is an older hotel and that they were sold out but we feel that they should have at least returned our calls and refunded us for the night based on their inability to provide a safe and acceptable room. I don’t usually write bad reviews but this experience warranted my sharing the experience to warn others who are considering booking this hotel. Ty

Il personale del front desk è molto amichevole. Per ottenere la stanza che abbiamo prenotato, saremmo stati divisi con altri che abbiamo conosciuto (che avevano anche letti re) Delusione saremmo stati sconfortati quando questo è quello che abbiamo prenotato e pagato inizialmente. La stanza era data e molto fondamentale. Non aveva nemmeno un contatore sul secchio per fare i capelli e essere pronti o tenere una barba per i capelli. Alcuni outlet non funzionavano.
