The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. The service in the restaurant was brilliant - the food was always hot and plentiful and staff couldnt do enough for you . The rooms were very clean and the heating came on when the nights drew in. We thought it was very good value

Well we’re do I start we stayed in this beautiful stunning hotel for 5 nights last week and all members of staff were fabulous nothing was to much trouble. The owner Syril is a top bloke you could have a great laugh with him and he made you feel extremely welcome . Margarita who I have nick named Margi was exceptional she always had a smile on her face and her hospitality was also exceptional, the outdoor swimming pool is a heated pool so you could go for a swim regardless of the weather but lucky for us the weather was amazing. The hotel even provides towels for the pool which was another bonus. The food in this hotel was first class and all staff were extremely helpful and made you feel so welcome. Syril and margi you have both been first class and look forward to seeing you again next year xxxx

Very comfortable hotel, good location , easy walk into town. Clean room, comfy bed and quiet. Great bathroom with plenty of hot water. There were tea & coffee making facilities and a hair dryer. The menu was basic but the food good. The breakfast was good with a, mix of cooked and continental. Staff throughout the hotel were all friendly and helpful especially Cyril who made us laugh out loud. Sadly we didn’t use the pool only because we didn’t have the best weather. I would definitely recommend the hotel and will stay again on our next trip to Guernesey.

We stayed in room 26 at this hotel from the 11th August to 16th August. We had an excellent stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable with an excellent balcony/terrace overlooking the rear of the property and pool. The bed was large and very comfortable with soft pillows. The water in the bathroom was always piping hot when required. There was a large flat screen TV with the normal English programmes. Tea & Coffee making facilities. There was plenty of hanging/storage space for our clothes. Breakfast was excellent with a decent choice of cereals/ fruits and the usual Full English as well as Kippers, Eggs on Toast etc. We dined in most evenings and again the food was very well prepaired and presented. For sports lovers there is at least 3 TV screens in the bar area so no need to miss out. The pool was well maintained and heated to around 22 Celcius. Within the grounds of the Hotel is a WW2 German Communications Bunker. This is a must visit if you are interested in WW2 as its been pretty much restored to how it looked during the war. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed are 5 days at La Collinette.

This is a wonderful clean, beautifully presented Hotel with the most helpful staff possible. They could not have helped more with my wife’s mobility issues. We didn’t use the pool but again it looked in terrific condition. We are already planning a longer stay! The history of the place and surroundings adds an extra element. Thank you La Collinette! Oh and the food is great too.

Ideally situated hotel ten minutes walk from St PeterPort. Friendly staff and good cooked breakfast. Stayed in large room with kingsize bed and large ensuite bathroom with window over looking swimming pool. Enjoyed evening meal cheeseburger salad and fries although tasty food burger was quite large so struggled. No complaints there just full up. Good sevice Fairly easy to navigate to hotel driving hire car from airport stayed for three nights and enjoyed it thoroughly soon became accustomed to roads. After a couple of days exploring the island soon sussed out most of the one way roads. Visited Herm unspoilt island 20 minute ferry trip a must when in Guernsey. Would definitely stay again just takes some time to adjust to the slow pace of Guernsey.

La Collinette Hotel & Self catering, St Peters port, Guernsey. Stayed in a cottage for a week. Self catering. All we needed. Bonus with the laundry room (very well used by guests...). Sorry the pool was so freezing cold (had looked forward to a second weeks holiday with pool). A mix of an old(er) style hotel, and added buildings, and the cottages (a few on top of the German Naval Signals HQ - do visit!). So a quirky mix of old and new(er), a bit strange in a way... and some things would need renovations (a little here and there...). E g does not look nice at all, by the small laundry room, to have junk and and old bed laying around. In what obviously just to be a small gym... At the front, a wooden raised floor with some chairs and a table, would need replacing... At the back of the 3 cottages (row of bungalows) would need freshing up. The very old stone/wood 'shed' (or what it might have been...) would need clearing away. And the tree in it. And around, by the bunker side... Though we had a good stay. Nice cottage. Others have written about the step walk back from St Peters port. That is very true. Walk through Candie gardens is better though. A 15-20 min. walk to supermarket. With the steep downhill, and uphill back. Close to a small convenient shop (daily), a couple of minutes.

Lively bedroom, great bathroom which included a corner bath, shower over. Towels replaced daily, quick but unobtrusive room service during breakfast. Lively bar atmosphere, probably due to attached private apartments. Great breakfast choice and a good evening meal menu. All staff so helpful. Short walk into town.

I worked in Guernsey for a few years and stayed here regularly during that period. The kindness and care from the staff is what sets this place apart from the rest and several years on, that thankfully hasn’t changed. What to say? Scrupulously clean and comfortable rooms that were serviced each day, beautiful breakfast and general chill out quality 10/10. Unlike other places in Guernsey, when you book a single room, you have a double bed- bliss! It’s a short walk from the centre of St Peter Port through beautiful gardens and is ideally situated for everything that Guernsey offers. So delighted to see staff that I had got to know are still here and lovely to catch up. Cyril, I hope you had a wonderful holiday and you were missed, but this hotel retains its warm welcome and high quality and as can be seen by so many reviews, that is mostly down to you. So happy I returned, and looking forward to seeing you all again ❤️
