Hotel in zona WM Flowtrail St. Moritz by ALLEGRA, Saint Moritz

Sono stato in questo ristorante per il pranzo incluso nel ticket RHB del trenino del Bernina. Oltre ad essere situato in una posizione stupendo che consente agli ospiti di godere di una scenografica vista sul lago ghiacciato, sono stato accolto con moltissima gentilezza e professionalità. Lo staff è stato attento ed al tempo stesso discreto. Qualità del cibo - insalata e rosti di patate - ottima. Mi piacerebbe tornarci per gustare un pranzo oppure una cena fuori dal contesto ticket RHB. Promossi!

We stayed at St Moritz Youth Hostel for a night after taking the Glacier Express from Zermatt. One might think lesser of a hostel as compared to a hotel but after our night stay at St Moritz Youth Hostel, I found myself truly underestimating the service a hostel can offer, much unbeknownst to a general opinion. And we owe thanks to Iris and her team’s wonderful hospitality and service, the stay was a memorable and wonderful experience. It was the last night of our honeymoon trip in Switzerland. Although it was snowy, sheer cold and our skins were shivering from the brr conditions, the kindness and hospitality by Iris and her team who went above and beyond truly, exudes warmth from within, which made our experience an exceptional one. One that would etched in our memories for many decades to come. We felt that this hostel provides extremely good value and is only a 10 mins bus ride away from the train station. The bus stop is right outside the hostel so it’s convenient even with big luggages. We bought 24 hours tickets at the station for the bus ride. Hostel is clean and has a good welcoming vibe. Although we stayed in the shared bathroom, bathroom was clean and near, didn’t have to wait long to use. There was also a basin in the room so it’s quite convenient. You don't have to step out to brush teeth or do any washing. Do bring your own soap, u can borrow a hair dryer from reception. We had dinner at the hostel, it was amazing. Breakfast was wonderful too. I would highly highly recommend this place to stay , you are in safe hands and well taken care of by the awesome team! They are patient and answer all your questions and share with you more about how to get around. St Moritz is a small town, but the experience and takeaways we obtained from our stay, is far greater, significant than the place. This in my opinion, is what you call travelling for an experience, with an experience. Thank you so much to Iris and the team (sorry didn’t manage to get your names!!)!! Superb is an understatement.

La camera era esattamente come in foto, pulita, spaziosa e confortevole. La colazione varia ed abbondante e il personale gentilissimo. L'hotel si trova in una posizione strategica per visitare i dintorni. Molto comodo da raggiungere in auto e con parcheggio gratuito. A piedi si puo' raggiungere il centro o la fermata dei mezzi. L'architettura è moderna e di design e c'è una lounge molto carina e luminosa. Abbiamo anche potuto sfruttare l'opzione con lo skipass a prezzo di favore. Non era la prima volta, e penso torneremo.

Ho prenotato all'Hotel Bernina in quanto ero gia stato ospite. Il pernottamento era per 5 notti , una delle quali per serietà ( fine covid ) non l'ho potuta usufruire. Premetto la camera riservata doveva essere una DE LUXE. Nulla da dire sul pagamento della giornata non goduta, ma che camera mi è poi stata data...... altro che de luxe , una vergogna. Non era certamente la camera prenotata a 629 chf a notte, una presa in giro. Altra rimostranza la colazione al mattino: tempo interminabile al servizio con mancanza di pane e croissant e marmellate : 2 barattoli giganti di marmellata di Arance amare e fichi...... ma quando mai!! ed il resto. La SPA ( senza ascensore) sotto tre piani di scale a chiocciola.....chi deambulava male ( come il sottoscritto per incidente) era un calvario scendere e salire. Il Solo giudizio positivo è dato al personale, ma aihmè una vera delusione tutta la struttura. E' vero che il danaro non fa la felicità......... ma neppure farsi fr............... in questo modo. Sono rammaricato e deluso, forse avrei dovuto fare il parvenue e rammentare che questo trattamento era riservato per un Hotel di 2, forse 3 stelle, non certo il costo praticato al sottoscritto. A voi l'ardua sentenza .
