I love it because it’s like stepping back in time. No tv no interruptions just stress free rest. Trails are nice boat rides are wonderful. The food is good but really to expensive. The staff are very nice. Over all it’s a great place to relax and have fun swimming.

Fun little lodge in a beautiful location. Old Florida style lodge. Rooms are basic but spotless. Beds super comfortable. Watch out for the elevator, though. Original elevator doors can pinch your fingers if you’re not careful!
Loved the fantastic boat ride. Tons of wildlife to see from birds to manatees to alligators. Be sure to reserve your spot in advance before the space fills, though.
Nice hiking trails on-site at the property.
Restaurant and lobby area can be extremely loud when they are having a private event because of acoustics.
We will definitely come back again.

The history, the beauty of the lodge and the springs, the wonderful dining, the staff that helps solve all problems. This is the perfect getaway... don't forget the 1930s elevator and marble stairs, and the lobby to watch The Creature from the Black Lagoon.

Charming, no frills lodging in an extraordinary setting. Clean, comfortable, quiet rooms and good dining options on site. The boat tour and the ginger yip were our favorites. Polite staff members add to an enjoyable, relaxing stay.

I loved the beautiful history of this place, and it has so much charm and beautiful details throughout the lodge, the dining room was gorgeous, and the food was great. We had breakfast there and it was absolutely delicious. We wanted to go on a glass, bottom boat tour however, the weather was bad so we’re coming back again to spend more time there. This place is unique and beautiful, and an absolute must see.
