Hôtel Le Manoir du Cunningham

Really great 3 star hotel with brilliant service, it could not be faulted. We had to check in late due to the arrival of our boat, and so the reception was closed, however we were given really easy instructions to access the hotel & given a room near the entrance, which we were very grateful for. The room was very clean & the bed very comfortable & a decent size. The continental breakfast was excellent with really good quality local products. We could not fault it, or the staff who were lovely & very helpful.

The Cunningham never disappoints. Lovely comfy large bed. Generally the Rooms spacious. The welcome is excellent and front of desk staff more than happy to book a restaurant for you if needed. The breakfast is good quality. There is some parking on site.

The location is fantastic. A lovely 15-minute walk from the intra-muros, great restaurants a very short walk away and views to die for. And then the rest… • Lack of cleanliness. The place is filthy, in particular the terrace, with cigarette butts everywhere and dried bird excrement all over the place. Used glasses in the room not replaced/not noticed • The place is very tired and needs a huge refurb to justify the prices. • Very uncomfortable beds, no bin the toilet, mini-fridge not cool, curtains are old and don’t look like they’ve been cleaned in quite a while, Wi-Fi worked for about 20 mins on the first day, no basic coffee facilities in the room, no bar as mentioned on *********** as a facility, … • Lack of customer service, the general attitude of the staff was nonchalant. Took dirty glasses down to be changed, had the person at the reception check they were really used, as an example. A simple “sorry, I’ll get them changed for sure” would have been enough. Having read the responses to other reviews, I know they’ll get a sarcastic response back to this review, full of petty excuses, attempting to brush everything under the carpet, because it seems the establishment can’t seem to take criticism and tries to hide it away. To add a final insult to injury, we get a message, upon checking-out, asking that if our review is negative to email them directly and not to post on the web. Hence, this public review. It is deceptive and unfair to anyone thinking of spending their hard-earned money here, and they deserve to know the truth and not defensive so-called excuses. While the location helps justify the price, how the owners can get away from charging almost €300 a night for “this” is beyond me!

Charming small hotel just outside Intra Morus. A 15 min walk along the beach and port area will get you to the old town. Very big rooms, clean and a bedsize I have never seen before. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Absolute value for money

Très bel hôtel plein de charme. Chambres spacieuses avec wc séparé de la salle de bains. Excellente literie (lit double en 180 cm). Petite bouteille d’eau de courtoisie. Excellent accueil des propriétaires. Très bon petit déjeuner. L’hôtel est idéalement placé, devant la plage des Bas sablons et très proche de la plage solidor. Parking devant l’hôtel ou à proximité au port des bas sablons ( l’hôtel a également un petit parking). Saint-Malo intra muros est à 15 mn à pied.

Je remercie infiniment la propriétaire. Nous avions réservé un hôtel à quelques mètres de celui ci et nous nous sommes retrouvés face à une fermeture administrative et sans solution. Nous avons tenté notre chance en allant au Manoir. La propriétaire nous a proposé une chambre adéquate en quelques minutes et nous a permis, de pouvoir dormir dans ce lieu. Nous n'avons pas regretté. Chambre avec vue sur mer, très bons matelas, grande propreté, jolie chambre avec une terrasse, une propriétaire absolument adorable et aux petits soins et un excellent petit déjeuner. Merci du fond du cœur à cette dame.
