Château du Palanquey & Spa

Thank you Melanie & Laurant for an incredible two night stay in Saint Emilion. The room, jacuzzi on balcony, incredible dinner and breakfast, gym and indoor pool was amazing with pure tranquillity looking out on the vines. Thank you for arranging our EV bike tour which was a stunning way to view the area and experience wine tasting and history of chateau. We will definitely be back.

Lovely chateau in fabulous position within a vineyard and surrounded by many more. Perfect for walking or touring. Hosts could not be more welcoming and kindly provided a plate of cold cuts on the evening we arrived though they weren't serving dinner that night. Nice breakfast. Indoor pool is small but pleasant. Eccentric mix of bric a brac and art through the property, Though the bedroom was confortable, some elements weren't practical, such as the massive bedside lamps which provided a hazard when getting up !

I would be remiss to describe Château du Palanquey & Spa without first describing the surrounding region: picturesque, radiant, and friendly with access to the most scrumptious of meals and tastiest of wines, no matter your pallet. Château du Palanquey & Spa welcomed us with open arms, providing an intimate experience with mouth watering food and attentive service, while also giving us the space to enjoy our romantic time together. And believe me when I say that the unique rooms, pool and spa, billards, art, and incredible vineyard landscape made for an unforgettable journey. The staff and owners at Château du Palanquey & Spa handled coordinating all of our taxi needs, tours, and dinners, even going so far as to book us e-bikes for a Tour de Emilion, which I have professed to be one of the top experiences of my life (there's simply no better way to tour the region). If you find yourself anywhere near St. Emilion, you simply must book at the Château du Palanquey & Spa as the experience will be as fine as the wine!
