Beaconsfield Farm

What a lovely find, Beaconsfield farm is beautifully set in the countryside of Somerset, minutes from the city of Wells and lots of local attractions, gorgeous walks. The accommodation is absolutely stunning with everything you could ask for, if you want an idilic county cottage in stunning settings then this is the place for you. We stayed in a lodge which is very nice. The purpose of our trip was a birthday present for my husband. We booked the lodge purely as it had a hot tub good fishing, swimming pool and a restaurant. The thought was that we could book into the restaurant for his birthday without needing to drive. I went to book for a meal on his birthday. Only to find it was closed. I asked why we hadn’t been informed and nearly got a shrug of the shoulders No apology or explanation. When I arrived home I emailed Putting in my complaint. I did not receive any communication apology nothing !!! Very rude and very dissatisfied.

Great 1 bed garden villa. Had all the amenities you need. Kitchen was well equipped with tvs in bedroom and living room. Location is great, couple of miles outside Wells. Was a great base to explore Somerset and Devon. Cream tea in the fridge for our arrival was a lovely surprise and very tasty! Can’t speak highly enough of the place. Very much recommended.

like a 5 star hotel experience but with the space of selfcatering. Everything you need is catered for without having to bring everything with you. Inside and outside space with fabulous garden views. Only a couple of miles from Wells, a great place to use as a base.

Excellent location. very quiet. Full facilities and mod cons with a tv in every room. Very clean and comfortable. Carol was very helpful and available for any support and advice. Tasty cream tea on arrival. Very close to Wells town centre enjoyed the Market days Wednesday and Saturday. If visiting Bath, avoid the weekends as all carparks are full and gridlocked traffic congestion. Took two hours to find a suitable parking space. however, once we found one, we had a great day. Five-star rating, although it was more like a ten.

Just left our wonderful garden room ! It was perfect in every way for our weeks stay exploring the area .lots of thing to do around and about .our little chalet ,was above expectations, with all the home comforts .Carol was close by if we needed her ,and kept in touch through text . We will def recommend to family and friends ,if they are coming to Somerset.
