Le Vieux Cep

We recently stayed in this hotel and are disappointed. **Room Cleanliness:** Upon entering the room, we noticed that it was not properly cleaned. There was visible dirty almost everywhere. **Dining Area:** The dining area was another area of concern. Many of the tables were dirty and not promptly cleaned after guests left. This created an unpleasant atmosphere during meal times. The dinner served was not at the expected level. Also the breakfast is too expensive for what it is in reality **Reception Service:** The reception staff were not welcoming or helpful. Staff preferred to watch video on their mobile phone and seemed indifferent and did not provide the level of service expected from a hotel of this caliber. When checking out nobody asked how our stay was nor greetings for the day. Overall very poorly trained and unmotivated staff. Overall, our stay was disappointing, would not recommend this hotel based on our experience

We stayed one night but wished we stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is really nice. The staff were really attentive. Cilaos is a really pretty village worth the drive. The views from the hotel is amazing. There are a few walks you can do from Cilaos.

Le Vieux Cep reste un bel établissement hôtelier. Accueil chaleureux, beau cadre, belle piscine. A recommander!
