Casablanca Inn on the Bay

We stayed in room 9. It’s a strange small layout. The sitting/living room was too small for the big screen TV ,so we stayed in the bedroom wich had its own TV. The bed was great, very comfy. The bathroom is about the size of an RV bathroom. The toilet is very low. Folks with bad knees or issues standing will have problems getting upThere is

Beautiful room but the t.v. and shower need to come with instructions as they were both difficult to operate. You get coupons for a free martini daily at their Tini Martini Bar, which is located in their restaurant, Nero's. it was across the street from the room we stayed in which was the Secret Garden area. Very nice little area with an outside porch deck to our room, and steps to the outside garden area. Not real thrilled with the location of hotel itself, as it is a very busy area and not a lot of grass areas for our dogs to do their business. Our first day there we attempted to sit at the bar for our martini but there was only one seat, and the bartender told my boyfriend he couldn't stand. He was pretty rude, but the bartenders after him were really nice. We sat at a table and had our martinis which we did every day while there, but you actually have to see the hostess at the front entrance to the restaurant to get a sit at the bar which i thought was rather ridiculous. Most bars first come first serve and to have to be seated by a hostess made no sense to mee. They also give you a free standard breakfast every day, but we only had that on the day we left. It was very good as were all the martinis we had during our stay. Nice staff, except for that one bartender and I don't know what his name was either. Not sure if we will stay there again because the shower and t.v. were really a problem. Good parking though.

1. The staff were so friendly and nice. The staff member who checked us in was very patient and excited that we had arrived. She supplied us with vouchers for free breakfast and two free martinis! 2. Will who was our extraordinary waiter was just fabulous! And Patrick took great care of us for breakfast! 3. The Inn is in the heart of the quaint and quirky town. Very easy to walk to all shops. 4. Now, the street noise and thus my reason for a 3 star score. The night noise was terrible. Although we were on the 2nd floor the folks walking at night felt like they were right inside our room. The majority of the people and car noise lasted until midnight. There were some late night stragglers that woke us up well beyond 1am. 5. Very fun place to eat ( they serve breakfast and lunch only) and their martinis are delicious! But the noise was unbelievable!
