Went here for afternoon tea. Such a nice place. Ground great to walk of the fantastic food. Afternoon tea is as expected sandwich cakes and of course scones, all were really nice. The service was first class and the room was decorated really nicely. We intend to go back again for lunch or even dinner. Staff were lovely

We had an excellent time at Sopwell House Hotel where we stayed one night. The staff were excellent especially Francesca in reception who looked after us and Harry in the restaurant. The food was superb and we also enjoyed our time in the spa. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. We thoroughly recommend going there for a break if you want a great experience. We look forward to returning in the future

I booked the cottonmill spa club package and was so glad I did as we were able to use all the facilities with no restricted area. The club option has an amazing changing area, fully equipped with all the necessities. Most importantly only club members can use this changing room and the additional spa rooms. I’m pregnant so couldn’t use most of the rooms but honestly didn’t feel I missed out at all. The indoor/outdoor pool/ jacuzzi was simply amazing with a door in the pool so you can swim indoors and outdoors as you please. The package included an hours treatment and I opted for a pregnancy massage. I was given a lovely fluffy pregnancy pillow and the bed was propped with plenty of pillows for my head. By far the comfiest massage bed experience whilst being pregnant! Afternoon tea was great and the team confirmed our very specific dietary requirements a few times and it was lovely to have them catered to rather than dumped in the ‘vegan’ category. Overall, highly recommend booking the club package and paying the extra. Will definitely be back when I’m not pregnant

Afternoon tea was beautiful today, lovely surroundings amazing food and beautiful service. Couldn't have been better staff were all attentive and so well trained without being on top of us. I want to go back really soon really worth the money we spent

Honestly a dream weekend away, the staff are insane, every single one we came into contact with was just wonderful. Huge shout out to Rekha, my facial was wonderful, to Natalia for the deep tissue massage worked on my aching muscles a treat, and to Angelique on reception in the spa, nothing was to much trouble and we were lucky to see her every day over the weekend. She is a credit to you. The food, the attention to detail as this place is spot on and I’d highly recommend. Feeling so very grateful that my hubby treated me to a weekend here for my birthday.

The best! I absolutely love Sopwell House, the cottonwill club was just amazing. I never get bored of going to the spa - the outside pool is so beautiful and we happily sat outside in the rain! This is my third visit to the spa and I can’t fault it. I took my friend for her 40th birthday and they gave us lovely welcome drink with a beautiful birthday gift bag. Faultess! The afternoon tea in Omboo is the best! The detail and service is well worth a visit. The sandwiches, cakes and scones are so nice and you can ask for extra sandwich’s if you like.

Where do I even begin....don't bother going! I arranged for an afternoon tea for a 60th birthday with 15 women. The table was ready late, the teapots, tea strainers and napkins were dirty, the staff were no where to be seen....except leaning on the walls and they got my reservation bill wrong as well as handing this to me at the table in front of all my guests. No customer service, no professional manner, highly embarrassing and not even one apology. We had to ASK to be served. If you're going to go anywhere, go to Pendley Manor....
