Hotel in zona Ermita De Sant Antoni i Santa Bàrbara, Safor

Great hotel, good food, good service, excellent location and amazing beach!! For sure we will go back next year. The hotel in itself is great. We booked a suite with garden and it was perfect. Pool is really nice, always have sunbeds available, not very crowded. They provide you with towels. We stayed for almost 2 weeks and had full board. We were concerned about the food but it was perfect. Never got bored nor had the need to go eat outside of the hotel to get away. A lot of variety and always something to eat. The service at the restaurant was very good too. The best part is the beach, definitely amazing. The kids club is great and the animators take very good care of the kids. The bellboys are also VERY VERY NICE, always smiling and asking if you need something. If they were to be paid by number of smiles they would be millonaires! There is one thing that was a big disappointment. We went to the spa as we could leave the kid at the kids club for an hour and make the most. However, they do not have cabins for couples! In the hundreds of hotels I have travelled to across the globe it is the first time a hotel of this level does not have cabins for couples. It is a pity as due to that we did not use the message service of the spa. The location is very calm with nothing nearby, so it is great to relax but boring if you want loads of life outside of the hotel. We will go back next summer!!

lovely modern hotel, in the centre of Gandia Playa (beach), and walking distance from the Playa Renfe train station, with direct trains to Valencia city. .Welcomed to the hotel by a lovely receptionist who worked previously in the UK, and given a modern clean, and cozy room, overlooking the beach with a nice terrace The hotel is really comfortable, and will be back again later in the year.

Completely comprised by the worst checking-in experience of our lives 5.0 Liked · The breakfast buffet was very good. Excellent coffee, good variety of options. Nice breakfast room, not over crowded. Disliked · Checking in at reception was the worst experience of many years of checking in at many types of hotels, in many countries, for both business and pleasure. It was the most unwelcoming process, where my wife and I felt like potential criminals. We had paid in full, in advance, when making the booking, for the six nights. That's fine. We were asked for our credit card to be scanned for a pre-authorisation. Why? we asked. ”Its for security for the room” we were told. My wife asked ”is this in case we damage or trash the room”. The receptionist smiled and nodded. Then came the ”terms and conditions” which we were asked to sign. This was four A4 pages of small font script, in SPANISH. ”Fine we said, Can we have the English version?” We don't speak Spanish and are from Ireland. We can't sign a four page document we can't read. Besides which we are fully paid in advance and you have additionally taken an authorisation of our card for any damage that we cause. What further assurances are required in a four page document. We explained very calmly and politely that we can't sign a document we can't understand. Another receptionist colleague offered to translate the ”important bits” of the document for us verbally. We declined. A signature on a document is a legally binding acceptance of the document in its totality. Ignorance is no defence in law. They had another mini conference about this with what appeared to be a shift manager, ( who didn't acknowledge us or come over to where we were standing at reception) and then they advised us that they would translate the document using A.I. but after another 15 minutes of us waiting then announced that they couldn't translate it. They would allow us to complete check-in and if we came back to the reception desk the following day they should have a translation for us to sign. We didn't go back to the reception.

Non posso nemmeno iniziare a dire abbastanza buone cose sul nostro soggiorno a La Galiana. Dal momento in cui siamo arrivati, il servizio era impeccabile – ricevimento, piscina bar, ristorante . . . Tutti erano così attenti e sembravano amare il loro lavoro. L'hotel è situato in una bella posizione al di sopra di una montagna, il design è perfetto, l'attenzione a ogni piccolo dettaglio. La mia stanza era oltre la perfetta con una bella vista sul giardino, un bel mobilio da patio sul patio privato, un lusso. Il bagno era grande e bellissimo con un bagno e una doccia che aveva una pressione d'acqua sorprendente e prodotti dai rituali che mi piacevano davvero!Il bagno era un capitolo speciale – Il mio massaggio era perfetto, così è la sauna. Non ho usato la palestra perché abbiamo passato tutte le mattine al campo da golf, ma tutto era così ben organizzato e bellissimo. Il campo da golf è sorprendente – molto difficile da dire il meno. L'ambiente e il design rendono unico questo campo da golf, sicuramente il migliore che abbia mai giocato. In attesa di tornare a La Galiana, abbiamo notato che stanno costruendo una nuova casa di club che sarà l'aggiunta perfetta a questo già . . . quasi perfetto posto. Per il personale a La Galiana - non avresti potuto fare altro per rendere la nostra permanenza memorabile. Ci sono buoni hotel e buoni golf course in tutto il mondo – è gente come te che fa la differenza tra un buon soggiorno e un soggiorno perfetto !
