We love the town of Sackets Bay. The property the hotel sits on is a old battle site. Great views of Lake Ontario. The only complaint is that the window sills were so filthy and filled with bugs that you could not open the window in the room. Bug spray and wiping them down would make a difference. There was also a nasty stain on the couch and the vent over the tub looks like it was cleaned in years.

Recently stayed one night in Marina Inn & Suites. Property is located right on Black Harbor Bay on Lake Ontario. We had a King Suite with a harbor view. The suite was large but the furnishings were old and worn out. The bed and pillows were comfortable. 6 bed pillows as requested were provided. A full kitchenette was useful for eating breakfast in our room. It appeared we were one of two sets of guests staying at the location so it was very quiet but a bit spooky as no staff were on site. Unfortunately the advertised self-service washer/dryer were not available. We recommend The Whiskey Coop restaurant for dinner if you stay in the area.

This is a gem of an inn located on Lake Ontario. Full of history, beautiful views and plenty of space. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Access to the YMCA is a nice perk. Easy walk to restaurants and shops and short drive to hiking trails and other sites. We very much enjoyed our stay!
