Hotel in zona TERMINAL SEKINCHAN, Sabak Bernam

They call this a “homestay,” which almost deterred me from staying here. It’s actually a pleasant hotel that just lacks a 24 hour front desk — I think it’s staffed during daylight hours — and relies on an electronic kiosk for check in and check out. There’s no cafe or restaurant, but there are food vending machines in the lobby and restaurants nearby. You’ll want to come with your own transportation. That said, we had a very pleasant stay there, and if you don’t require hotel services, you will too. The hotel is located in one of the many concrete, box-like structures that you’ll see in the padi fields around Sekinchan. These used to be commercial nesting houses for the swiftlets whose saliva nests are used to make birds’ nest soup. Normally the swiftlets nest in caves in remote areas, which makes harvesting the nests difficult. But if you have plenty of swiftlets and no caves, as in Sekinchan, you can build an artificial cave and have a business. I guess that business didn’t thrive, and many of these bird nest houses have been repurposed into alternative uses like this one. The hotel is constructed entirely of concrete (floors, walls, ceilings). The rooms are adequate in size with a huge window providing an excellent view over the rice fields. The rooms are immaculate; air conditioning is good; and a station providing filtered drinking water is available next to the elevator on each floor to refill your water bottles. The kiosk-based check in and check out works well, but is inflexible. If you want to extend your stay you still have to use the kiosk to check out on your original date of departure and check in again. Even though you’re paying for the next day, the kiosk still will charge you a significant penalty if you don’t complete the check out by 12 o’clock check out time. This is weird and inconvenient (and the front desk staff don’t tell you these details), but if you know the rule you can easily manage it. The limited front desk staff speak only Chinese, with the exception of one older lady who frequently isn’t there but is reachable by phone. The hotel has a few set ups in the back (swing, heart-shaped seat and staircase to nowhere) to help you get Instagram-worthy photos on the spot. These seemed to be very popular with young couples staying there. There are several casual restaurants nearby, including a good Vietnamese restaurant just a couple of blocks away, plus lots of Chinese restaurants. (The population of Sekinchan is 80% Chinese.) I came here to photograph the abundant kingfishers that nest in the banks of the irrigation canals running through the rice fields. Padi Sentral was perfect for my needs — comfortable room, perfect location, inexpensive).

È un bel posto per stare e più vicino alla zona principale di attrazione. Il servizio Front Desk potrebbe essere migliore e devono essere amichevoli a tutti gli ospiti e minimizzare la conversazione tra loro. La stanza è senza spot.

C'erano 4 spiriti cattivi che mi hanno disturbato nella stanza 1-1 mentre dormivo. Mi hanno toccato finché non sono riuscito a dormire. Quando non potevo più tollerare, svegliò mio marito e gli disse di portare la sua coppa e di trasferirmi nella stanza del nostro amico, dove il cattivo spirito mi seguiva, così non dormivo neanche tutta la notte. Il giorno dopo ho fatto una denuncia al Front Desk e mi è stato detto che sono a conoscenza di tali spiriti cattivi, soprattutto nella stanza 1-1. Ero così turbato e gli ho detto che non dovrebbero permettere che questo accada. Almeno dovrebbero portare la preghiera in quella stanza, affinché i cattivi spiriti possano lasciare e stare in pace; altrimenti non dovrebbero aprire la stanza per occuparsi; il peggio è che il cattivo spirito mi ha seguito a Kuala Lumpur. La notte intera non mi sentivo bene e non potevo dormire. Il giorno dopo, mi sentivo completamente malato e soffriva di un terribile mal di testa; era il momento che ho chiamato il mio amico Sifu a venire nel mio ufficio e a controllarmi. Quando mi facevo la preghiera, mi sentivo un po' meglio, e quella notte mi sentivo bene, e potevo dormire tranquillamente. Il sifu mi disse che quello che mi seguiva era una vecchia signora. Invito la gestione di questo hotel a offrire più preghiere a quegli spiriti poveri, così che rimangano in pace.

La stanza era molto pulita e confortevole per soggiornare. Facile da controllare e dobbiamo aspettare per un po' di tempo. Il personale era molto amichevole e utile. Vicino al campo di Padi e alla spiaggia di Redang. Facile da trovare vicino ristorante di alimenti per la marea. Certo che tornerà. Grazie per la grande ospite.

Ho prenotato una stanza con un letto di grandezza re. Era un po’ piccola e senza finestra, ma era pulita. Mi sorprende che un giorno fumasse vicino alla mia stanza, perché era una stanza di connessione. Ho chiesto alla persona di servizio e ci ha offerto di andare in un altro.

L'hotel Lagenda ha avuto una bella esperienza, e tutti i membri del personale che ho incontrato, dal valletto al check-in al personale di pulizia erano felici e ansiosi di aiutare! Grazie, mi consiglierei ai miei colleghi!

非常滿意的一次入駐體驗

Ho prenotato 3 camere senza colazione per questo hotel attraverso Agoda , è vicino al mio ristorante preferito Poh per cena , il famoso ristorante Masta Ghani per Mee Rebus è stato come 3 minuti di cammino .. la stanza era spaziale, fornendo un piatto extra nel piccolo tavolo, ha un ascensore che era grande per i miei genitori anziani .. finora così buon soggiorno

Anche in una grande città come Ipoh, si trovano assai pressioni per trovare hotel adatto ai turisti. Il design è un po 'antico, con corridoi non climatizzati, le moderne strutture sono piuttosto ben arredate. Il wifi era stabile e il flusso d'acqua calda era coerente. Situato proprio fuori della città principale, tutto ciò che ci vuole è un 5 minuti di auto. La posizione permette anche di tornare rapidamente alla autostrada NS senza combattere il traffico mattinale ricco. Solo lungo la strada principale è il popolo ristorante di cibo marino Tai Chong. La stanza gemella che avevamo era sufficientemente grande e si sente molto domestico. Il condizionamento d'aria è il tipo di multi-unità di divisione di famiglia, in modo che la temperatura possa essere controllata meglio di quella dei tipici sistemi centrali nella maggior parte degli hotel. Il caffè al lobby fa un buon caffè sorprendente.Mi dispiace di aver avuto solo il mio ultimo giorno di partenza.

Very comfortable stay. Staff are efficient and friendly. Nearby coffee shops have good choices for breakfast. Unfortunately haven’t tried the food at the downstairs cafe,which saw a lot of customers. Would be better if can provide good sitting area for guests.
