Premier Inn Saarbrucken City Congresshalle Hotel

Durch meine Arbeit übernachte ich oft (alle zwei bis drei Wochen) in diesem Hotel. Bisher war auch immer alles gut. Dieses Mal hatte ich ein Loch in meiner Bettwäsche und komische Flecken an der Wand neben dem Bett. Ansonsten war alles andere unverändert sehr gut.

Mehr erwartet als bekommen

We were on a trip from the low countries to the south of Germany so needed a place en route for an overnight and this fitted the bill. The hotel is very new, the family room very spacious, beds really comfy, the shower really really good (has the rainfall head on the wall but also a hand held unit should you want that). The parking garage is relatively spacious and relatively easy to get in and out of the car/ space, the cost is 15Euro per night, so not the cheapest but its a secure underground facility so far cheaper than having something happen to your car on the street! It might have been a perfect stay only for the bathroom not being cleaned properly (the last guest had really black hair, we can presume) and there was a glitch in the air conditioning which works REALLY well, but in our case too well as there was a build up of condensation- its a known problem which they had thought was already fixed so I won't hold that too much against them. Location is just 5 minutes further down the street from the other Premier inn, its at the edge of the city centre in a somewhat industrial / commercial area with the congress centre so the action is a little away but not too far at the same time. We didn't get breakfast or use the bar so cant comment on that. They do serve pizza (and burgers??) until late so that might be of use to someone not wanting to head into the city upon arrival. All in all, I can imagine we will visit again on our longer road trips and hope that the next time the bathroom doesnt experience the same issues.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise in Saarbrücken und haben uns vor allem wegen des rollstuhlgerechten Zimmers für das Premier Inn entschieden. Die Anfahrt war wegen einer Baustelle etwas komplizierter als normal, aber der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption hat uns problemlos in die Tiefgarage eingewiesen, die über einen gut zugänglichen Behindertenparkplatz sowie automatische Türen zum Aufzug verfügt. Das Zimmer selbst war geräumig und mit allem Notwendigen sehr durchdacht ausgestattet. Selten zuvor haben wir ein so optimales Bad vorgefunden. Da die Rezeption telefonisch nicht ganz einfach zu erreichen ist, war ich zunächst auch wegen des Erstkontaktes zu einem Chatbot etwas skeptisch. Letztlich hat aber alles ganz hervorragend geklappt, alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit, wir waren durchweg sehr zufrieden. Der Preis für den Parkplatz war aus unserer Sicht ok, man kann aber auch in der Nähe günstiger parken, wenn man besser zu Fuß ist. Auf das Frühstück haben wir verzichtet, das Essen in der Bar war Fast Food aus der Mikrowelle. Ein nettes Plus war die Happy Hour, die wir bei unserer zweiten Übernachtung auf dem Rückweg gerne genutzt haben. Insgesamt können wir das Hotel absolut empfehlen.
