Red Roof Inn Danville, PA

April ’24. This motel deserves NO patronage. They try to place customers in the back rooms that are smaller and in horrible condition. I had to demand that I was transferred to the larger front rooms. However, even these rooms are subject to what I experienced… no working phone; smeared windows, furniture, and mirror; no housekeeping whatsoever no matter how long your stay and whether asked for or not; no sheer on the window… it’s all or nothing with the room darkening curtain or exposing yourself to others; constant traffic noise. The female attendant when I checked in was dressed in yard clothes, had no uniform or name badge, and came across as hating customers. If you’re by yourself and want to endure this to save money, more power to you! Otherwise, this is a dump that doesn’t give a damn and has no standards… and it shows inside and out. I recently stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Danville and had a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a good night's rest. Great place . Great for travelers on I-80. Near Geisinger hospital. Hotel is updated and very clean. Rooms were spotless. Beds were clean and comfy. Wifi works perfect and we streamed online movies. lots of truck parking.Staff was freindly.

Nice hotel for stay. Was here visiting family at Geisinger Hospital. Its just 2 miles away. Price was very competitive . Wifi was perfect . Staff was friendly and helpful. Just off of I-80 and Exit 224. 6 miles to Bloomsburg,PA. building is under major renovations for better guest experience and comfort.

We've stayed at this hotel 4 times this summer when coming to the area to race. The rooms are always clean and well kept. Christine the front desk clerk is always a pleasure to deal with. She greets you with a big smile and you feel like friends by the time you're checked in. This will be our go to hotel when in the area.

The Danville Red Roof wins the blue ribbon for being the cleanest hotel in the area. These employees especially Christine and Donna clean everything and everything in between. The bathrooms are spotless (and smell so good). The young lady at the front desk, Christine, is on top of the game and a cleaning guru. She is always happy, gets to know you, and is willing to share her knowledge. Christine and Donna take ownership of their workspace which is always the best resource for a clean hotel. The Manager Christine has taken the time to nurture her staff and has invested the time to be a role model.

The rooms were cuter that I expected for an off the road hotel. I felt safe and Friendlies was just across from the hotel. The only drawback was that the internet was down so I had to purchase hot spot data on my phone to be able to work my remote job. Fortunately Red Roof refunded me 10 dollars to cover the cost of my hotspot data as the wifi was down all evening.

Drive past this place. .DO NOT STOP! I have been a redirewards member for over 8 years and travel the wast coast NH to FL 2x year and never have I had so many issues with a redroof. 1st issue I made this reservation for Oct 7th on Sept 12th for a king handicapped room. Called the hotel 2x toconfirm my resi because it was a holiday weekend confirmed room and rate. At 11:35 on sept 7th day if reservation i get an email that my reservation had been changed as requested. I never requested a change. Somehow the room was changed to non handicapped 2 full. Called hotel and they said yes they had changed it to accomadate all guests....i said NO WAY ....they questioned my handicap...I said I booked a king handicapped I expect to get it. Got hung up on. Called Redroof Cus service... they called hotel and fixed it. Getcto hotel yes I had a king room but my price had gone up by $40. Fixed that issue at front desk. Get to room where we killed 5 flies and by as all dirt cob webs and trash. morning there were at least 5 more in room. Under bed was all dirt and trash. Do not stay here.

Hotel room was very clean. Staff were friendly. Easy check in and out. Located near restaurants and downtown Danville, PA. Room rate was comparable with the events that were going on at that time in the area. Would stay there again next time I am in the area.
