Hotel Lindenwirt

Nice big room with comfortable bed and good bathroom. Quiet. Good buffet breakfast but food and service at dinner was poor. Recommend eating elsewhere. Also no indoor bar or lounge. Would be poor place to stay in cold or wet weather. Great position in town centre.

Great location, room was within the outside balcony, which made it cold with cold air coming under the door. We had to place towel near door to stop the draught. You could not turn up the radiator any higher as it had an inhibitor to prevent doing this .So we found the room to be very cold. The food in the hotel was very basic with no vegetables at dinner time. Breakfast was good., sufficient selection. The staff were excellent and reception very good.. I think the hotel should have a bar / lounge for the customers to relax in the evening. That was a downer for its low score on this site.

We called the hotel on our journey through Europe and checked their availability for the night. They didn’t have a hotel room available but a very kind and helpful person in the reception suggested we stayed in two ‘wine barrels’ since we travel with our dog. We agreed to this for 260 € total. The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect and the staff is very helpful but the wine barrel was a horrible experience regarding comfort. If taller than 160cm (which I hardly am) you should not stay there, the beds are tiny in all dimensions. For our kids I think it might have been an ok experience but they were both on their way to fall out of the bed during their sleep since it so narrow. At one point during the night I considered lying on the floor instead so I guess that speaks for itself regarding the comfort… In addition to uncomfortable beds, there is also no sound-proofing so we heard our neighbors snoring and woke up every time a door closed. The wine barrel is also very light there are no possibilities to darken the room. I pointed the above out during checkout but apparently there are people also who loves these barrels??

Stayed here on a recent Bavarian Tour. Loved the central location of the place but no luggage service makes check-in/out very messy. The rooms were also very basic and in need of upgrade. We also ate in the hotel restaurant, the food was underwhelming. Lots of better choices nearby....

Accueil, cadre, propreté, confort, petit déjeuner, proximité de la Drosselgasse, parking surveillé dans la cour de l'hôtel, … que de moments très agréables et conviviaux dans cet établissement que je recommande si vous étes dans la région !

Goed hotel wel in de kamer misschien airco plaatsen in toekomst eten ook super lekker maar mss als je halfpension neemt menu eens veranderen ook super vriendelijk en behulpzaam ontbijt ook super lekker en uitgebreid ook heel tof terras om savonds te genieten
