Hotel in zona Gurdwara Sahib, Leamington & Warwick, Leamington Spa

My family and I recently stayed at the wonderful Woodland Grange Hotel. We read lots of great reviews so decided to give it a try. Thankfully they are now a dog friendly hotel (yayyy!!!). We booked 2 of their king rooms and both rooms were really lovely, super roomy and spotlessly clean (including the bathrooms) with super comfortable beds. On arrival, in my room, there was a gorgeous “Doggy welcome gift box” with blanket, poo bag dispenser (with poo bags), tennis ball and travel water bowl (so cute!). Our dog LOVES presents and wasted no time in ravaging through it all. He snuggled in the blanket and made himself at home within minutes! ALL the staff were so lovely and made such a fuss of him (and us)… It was so sweet. A super helpful lady called Annie personally walked us down to their massive field behind the hotel where our dog was immediately in heaven playing. Having our fur baby with us, it was so convenient to have that fabulous field literally on our doorstep! They also have a gorgeous front garden area too (beautifully lit up at night), with gazebo, outdoor sofas, etc… It looked so stunning! They have a huge restaurant (which, understandably, don’t allow dogs, when really busy) but they have a lovely alternative dining area (which allow dogs) in the bar areas… and they have 2 x different DELICIOUS menus to choose from. Due to family commitments, we were only there for 1 night, so we had breakfast and supper there but the food (at both meals) was absolutely AMAZING and the choices were so great. I noticed on the reception desk, they had won a hospitality award for their food & drinks and we all agreed, it was very well deserved. They even brought a water bowl and treats to our dog when we were having dinner in the bar area (so thoughtful!). Woodland Grange is so conveniently located, as it’s away from the hustle bustle, yet is only a 6min drive to Leamington Spa town centre. What an AMAZING hotel with such special staff… and we can’t wait to stay there again. All the staff were so friendly and so accommodating throughout our whole stay! A special and huge thanks to Oliver, Annie, Lili, Melanie, Katie and all the staff there, for giving us such a wonderful and welcoming stay!!! We have recommended to all and can’t wait to come back again!!!

Perfect location for visiting the beautiful town of Warwick it’s less that 5 min drive to the castle about a 25 min walk. Room was great as were the Staff. Breakfast was ok, very busy and limited choices, but decent enough. Bacon was very good although I think everyone else agrees as it went super quick!

Stayed for a couple of days whilst we visited local historical sites. Room was excellent as was the pool and general facilities. Was surprised the bar evening menu is the same as the main restaurant - seems little point in not availing oneself of the restaurant since it is much nicer and costs nothing more! Many thanks to the bar staff (who sang happy birthday) and Rieann and Ionda in the restaurant for their friendly service.

Mi sono fermato a mezza settimana mentre lavoro a Coventry, ma vivo circa un'ora di distanza, e ho avuto qualche giorno così volevo stare vicino all'ufficio per una notte. Check in was easy (lockbox) and communication by the host good, parking is a squeeze around the back (once you’re in the car park it’s fine) so just be careful if you have a larger vehicle. La stanza era un'unica e bella per le mie esigenze per una notte, ma probabilmente avrei prenotato una stanza più grande per un altro tempo. Il rumore non era un problema per me, ma ero in un edificio più piccolo accanto al palazzo principale. La strada stessa è una tranquilla residenza. Il tè, il caffè e i gel di doccia sono stati forniti come le tovaglie. L'opposto della negozia non è più aperto, che è una vergogna come avrei voluto avere alcune bevande morbide, ma non è colpa di The Dakota. There is a pub about a 5-8 minute walk if you turn out of the property to the left and keep walking. I'd stay again if the price was right as my needs were met.

Torniamo per tre notti, accompagnati dai miei due figli, e abbiamo sempre un bel tempo, è così sicuro per i bambini e per i colleghi che restano e per il personale amico. I bambini sentono che hanno una grande libertà in un ambiente benvenuto. Bene e vicino a Stratford, un bel posto per esplorare. Ci siamo fermati nella stanza accessibile sul pavimento vicino alla ricezione. L’unica influenza che ho è che la stanza non era quella che io chiamavo pulito al momento dell’arrivo. C'era un po' di polvere sui dispositivi e sui dispositivi e le spazzature sotto letti, ecc. La camera da bagno poteva anche fare con una pulizia profonda. O i puliziari non sono addestrato/facciano un lavoro sufficiente e/o non sono adeguatamente supervisionati. Inoltre, mi sono confusa con il segnale in cucina che mi ha fatto girare il fan di estrazione sopra i salsicce quando ho cucinato, ma non mi è stato detto che il fan non avrebbe funzionato senza il fan, che è un messaggio diverso in tutto ... Ho chiuso tutti i giochi e anche detto alla persona al ricevimento che non lavoravano, solo per essere detto al fan necessario essere chiuso per loro per lavorare. Non sono stato solo io a essere confuso, la prossima persona che è entrata in cucina aveva la stessa domanda!Spero che torniamo presto.

Resta davvero comodo. Uno dei migliori letti che abbia mai avuto in età. La temperatura della stanza era buona. Veramente vicino ai luoghi turistici e ai posti da mangiare. Grande colazione.

Anthony has created the most magical experience, you really have to see it to understand. Full of knowledge and passion for the property and its history, but also a great singer and pianist and part time Dad to signets and Swallow chicks, who he obviously cares about deeply and loves to feed. Cannot recommend highly enough! The hotel is part of “No ordinary hotel” and lives up to that. A wonderful historic setting, great service, excellent food and at a very reasonable price! If we lived closer we’d be back soon, if we’re ever passing this way again it would be our go-to stop.

We were visiting Talton Mill for a friend's special birthday and, we booked 3 rooms (2 coupes and 3 adults father and 2 sons), We stayed in the cream room, which had stunning views of the fields. We had instructions on how to let ourselves into the gpuse and individual rooms, so could arrive when we wanted to. As we were all arriving at different times. Al the rooms we booked were lovely. We were woken in the morning by the sheep, which was better than the usual alarm at home. Our continental breakfast was delivered outside our room at 8am, and we collected it on the trays provided to eat in the comfort of our room. There was plenty for all of us. Loads of fresh blueberries and strawberries. Talton Mill was literally 6 minutes' drive from here, and we had plenty of space in the car park. The owner was lovely and chatty, telling us all about the local area. Shower was hot and powerful, WiFi was also great. Would stay at this beautiful place again. Thank-you.
