A spacious and elegant 2 double bed, 2 bathroom garden flat in an iconic row of Regency period buildings directly opposite Blackheath Common. Close to Blackheath Village, Blackheath ROyal Standard and Greenwich Park. Very convenient also for the O2 Arena. Handy to both Rail (Blackheath or Westcombe) and tube services (North Greenwich on the Jubilee line) with a total travel time from the front door of 18 minutes to Canary Wharf and 25 mintues to London Bridge in the city.
Fully furnished and renovated to a high standard, features include private entrance with independent keycode access, warm and comfy underfloor heating, Miele kitchen, private patio, separate dining area and large living room with sofabeds, AV wall & workspace. Free on-site parking available.
**Please note that at this time the bathtub in the ensuite bathroom is out of commission for reconfiguration. The ensuite basin and toilet are operating as normal. The large glass canopied bath shower unit in the main bathroom is operating as normal. This "One-and-a-half Bathroom" status during this period is reflected in reduced rates**
The space
Master bedrooom with ensuite and double bed; second bedroom with double bed; main bathroom with high-end glass canopy bath-shower; separate dining area; 20 foot living room with sofa-beds, flush-mount 50" TV screen and study area; underfloor heating throughout; private rear patio with garden furniture, firepit and barbeque available; galley kitchen with granite worktops and Miele appliances; oak floors throughout.
The large 20 foot (6.1m) living room has ample seating and offers additional sleeping, with an L-shaped corner sofa plus two sofabeds, each folding out to a double bed.
Guest access
Private gated entrance with keyless entry - you will be supplied with a personalised code for entry through both gate and front door.
Other things to note
A complimentary package of essentials such as coffee, tea, milk, bread, eggs, butter, cereals and mineral water is provided to get your stay off to an easy start. Other basics such as condiments, oil and seasonings and a few canned goods are also kept in the cupboards for those wanting to make use of the excellent cooking facilities (comprising double Miele oven, induction cooktop, microwave and toaster). Use the 24 hour mini-mart just across the road for quick purchases or walk three minutes to the Blackheath Royal Standard shops with an M&S Food Hall for additional grocery shopping.
For those wanting to eat out, just a 10 minute walk across the heath takes you to historic and charming Blackheath Village, with a great collection of bars, restuarants and cafes. As the property is also very near to Greenwich Park, a ten minute walk takes you to the Greenwich Observatory, and you can walk on down the hill for another 10 minutes to Greenwich for further restaurants, bars and cafes and of course visit the Cutty Sark and Greenwich Maritime Museum while there.
