Casa Kaligari History

Very beautiful and clean apartment, perfect for a couple. I loved that it’s in the middle of the old town in Rovinj even though the noise from the street below can be unwelcome for those who are sensitive to it. Everything is very close to the apartment and a lot of excellent restaurants are very near! The parking that’s not free is very close and budget-friendly (30 kuna/day), but the owner of the apartment can show you a free parking approx. 15mins walk away and I truly recommend it if you don’t mind a little bit of walk or if you’re not gonna use your car that much. Although the apartment is very close to the sea the tourist beach is around 20mins walk away - but it’s a very nice walk, you get to se the newer part of Rovinj, amazing yachts and beautiful new hotels. We actually enjoyed that walk every time we went to the beach. The owner, Mr. Damir, is very welcoming and he is truly passionate about his town. When we arrived he helped us with our lagguage and showed us the map of Rovinj and wich destinations he recommends, he told us a little bit about the city and it’s history. There’s a lot to see in Rovinj and even though we were there at the end of the season (in the middle of september) the streets were buzzing and there were still a lot of tourists. Each evening there was something to do (live music, wine tasting etc.) I truly enjoyed staying in that apartment and I recommend it to anyone who likes small studios with a lot of vibe in the middle of the amazing old town.
