Rotorua: i migliori hotel a 5 stelle

Stayed here for 2 nights with my family including an infant. Room was pretty spacious. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately, there seems to be bed bugs or dust mites on the floor carpet as I got plenty of bites around my ankle. Went ahead to inform the front desk but I was told that there were absolutely no bed bugs in the hotel. Overall room is ok except for the cleanliness.

The location is good. Rooms looks good from a distance. Look closer... Bathrooms are a 2-3 out of 5. Carpet is dark but was dirty when I got in here. When I put my feet on the bed there's stuff that stuck to my feet so I will not go barefoot in here. There was a dark hair on top of the bed. There's no safe in the rooms. They brag about the 'private pool' in the rooms but it's just an older Jacuzzi bathtub. Looking at the yellowed jets, there's no way I would go in it. The welcome gift when we came was an 8 ounce carton of milk and two individual packages of cookies. Look at the photos. The light has bugs in it and is burned out. Look at the two towels/clothes racks. Yuck! The Jacuzzi faucet? No! The walls are really paper thin! I could hear conversations. I needed to rest and there were kids jumping on the beds/ laughing loudly after 10. All afternoon & on both sides of me there were a number of younger adults outside and inside drinking beer and quite loud. When I got back at 9 o'clock, The office was closed and dark and nobody that I could contact about the noise. I was not happy. Very noisy in the bathroom. There's a buzzing and humming noise that goes on and off every couple minutes. Most of the equipment noises are coming through the bathroom window from different machines on the back of the buildings. l also wasn't told this room was on a second story. had to walk upstairs with a bad leg and naturally no other rooms were available on the first floor. There is no solid ”door” to the room. The outside wall is glass windows and a glass sliding door that you get a key to. The sheers are as thin as a pair of nylons. You can see right through them. There's almost no way you can completely close the curtains over the door when you leave, without them being open a little where people can look in. This is certainly not what I would expect from a hotel room when I'm paying this High a price!

Driving up to the property I thought I was in heaven. It's situated right on Lake Rotorua. A fellow traveller at breakfast perfectly described it as ”majestic.” We were greeted warmly and were shown to our beautiful deluxe villa. The views from our balcony were stunning. Every morning I watched the sunrise. The villa was larger than many one bedroom apartments. I took advantage of feeding the on-site animals carrots. Breakfast was so delicious with the best porridge I've ever tasted. I could have eaten a jar of each of their fresh jams without bread. Service, except for dinner, as impeccable. I would have given this review five stars but I did have a few issues/suggestions: 1. We had dinner and it was truly mediocre. The bread served with the bread service was so fresh but, for four, big pieces of bread there were very little accompaniments. I ordered the seared tuna. It came to my table cold, not lukewarm, but cold. It was overcooked and dry and very disappointing. The cauliflower puree, potato gratin, and baby carrots were delicious but would have been much better hot. This dish was very expensive and did not meet my expectations. 2. The bathroom was very large but had issues. The floor was so slippery. The shower stall was vinyl and small and also slippery. It was such a small, cheap shower for this caliber of a property and this size of a bathroom. The vanity was long and shallow so it was hard to put our toiletries on it. Since the sink was so shallow, water splashed everywhere when I washed my face. The vanity could have been a lot deeper if the space was better used. 3. The bed linens were very low quality. The sheets were stiff and cheap. The comforter was very thin, like you would find at a low price hotel. Again, for the price of the room, one would expect better linens. I would in no way deter anyone from staying at the magical property. I'm just suggesting that there are little tweaks that could be made that would bring this property up to a true five star one.

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment and it was perfect for our family. The apartment was modern, spacious and clean and close to town. Staff were so lovely and helpful too. We stayed next door around 10 years ago, so it was great to revisit Rotorua and know we would be staying in top accommodation!

Newina è un hotel di medie dimensioni, situato a 5 minuti dal centro città Il manager è stato molto utile e ha avuto un'ottima conoscenza delle attrazioni turistiche della zona. La stanza era pulita senza spot e ci piaceva vedere un giardino privato con un enorme spa. Ci è anche una piscina e una piccola sala conferenze. Lavanderia completa situato sul pavimento. Molto conveniente e rimarremo sicuramente di nuovo

Abbiamo apprezzato la nostra permanenza in questo splendido letto e colazione. La camera era molto spaziosa, pulita e decorata elegantemente. La vista dalla nostra camera era sorprendente: il lago a distanza e una sorgente e scultura sotto su un enorme prato verde. Il letto era molto confortevole con buon letto. Amiamo le strutture della bagno, tra cui un vestito, scarpe, lozioni, bel shampoo, condizionatore, doccia e bagno. Il pranzo e il colazione erano deliziosi e ben presentati. Il personale era sorprendente. Darsh e tutto il personale si sono spostati per rendere il nostro soggiorno speciale. Potrei dire che lavoravano duramente per piacere agli ospiti. Sentite che se siete più vecchi, è una proprietà con le scale rigide. Il personale porterà i bagagli per voi.

Adoro questo hotel. A dire il vero, non mi aspettavo molto quando si tratta di un vecchio e un vent'anni. Ma quando sono entrato nell'hotel, ho trovato che l'hotel è molto speciale e unico. Sì, è vecchio e un vent'anni, ma è anche ben mantenuto. Per la stanza, mi piace perché ha grandi finestre, tra cui bagno e la luce del sole può passare. Per la posizione, mi piace perché è così vicino alla fermata centrale del bus, Eatery Streets e Polinesian Spa. Perche' non guidare così posizione è molto importante per me. Come molti altri posti a NZ, questo hotel sembra essere poco dotato di personale, ma il personale ha ancora fatto il meglio da servire. Sono gentili e amichevoli. Vorrei poter stare in hotel per qualche coppia di più e godere dell'atmosfera unica.
