The lake is only a 400m walk from the property where you can enjoy what the lake has to offer.
For those wanting to head back to Rotorua, it is only a 10-minute drive.
The property has car parking for 5 cars and a boat.
There is a lock-up shed for 5 mountain bikes.

A beautiful, well-appointed bach
Fabulous 180-degree panoramic views - the photos just don't do it justice. 10 mins drive to Rotorua for restaurants / grocery shopping etc, so very convenient. The only thing you need to bring is a portable heater. We stayed in July and the weather was very cold, and the heat didn't travel to the two smaller rooms. There are also a lot of bach rules and instructions everywhere, so you need to be ok with that. That said, it was a very comfortable stay, hot tub under the trees with a lake view was amazing, the two larger beds are very comfortable, and heavy curtains made the rooms nice and dark. We slept so well! Thank you for sharing your beautiful bach with us :)

Okareka Lake Views
Property was very comfortable, well maintained, and well located and we very much enjoyed our stay.
Visitors need to be fit to go up and down stairs. The owners were very keen that property was well maintained by visitors.
For 1st time lake visitors like us, our stay would have benefited from on site mountain bikes and kayaks being readily available (had to find all our fun which was fine but some more easy fun would be good, especially for teens)
