Mermaid Cottage is a delightful 18th century cottage situated on the historic cobbled Mermaid Street in the medieval town of Rye, perfect for a relaxing break away from it all. Mermaid Cottage is only five minutes walk from Rye Station. Car parking is next to the station. Situated at the top of Mermaid Street, you step out on to the cobbled street or sit in the bay window and watch the world go by. One of a pair of cottages situated at the top of the historic cobbled street within the citadel of Rye, you have views along Mermaid Street and across the rooftops from the bedrooms. The cottage is light and airy, and sleeps four, in a double room on the first floor and a twin bedded room on the top floor. It has a separate living room, dining room and kitchen. The bathroom has a shower bath and heated towel rail. There is also a secluded courtyard garden with table and chairs, perfect for alfresco dining.
