Unclean, rude staff who try and bribe you for positive review, hot tub maintenance sub-par Much better alternatives for the price, Aphrodite’s are absolutely perfect and blow this place out of the water, not bad for a quick basic stay if you’re local though.

Thought long and hard before posting this but felt others should see before booking. To avoid the same experience Not clean, unkept and not maintained, used sanitary towel under the sofa. When this was mentioned to the host was very hostile and basically threatened if I report this it will ruin her business she relies on this and has bills to pay as does everyone, and that she most definitely cannot give me my money back and was very hostile and rude. Was told the cleaner was new and would be let go as a result of this, when the pictures as attached were shown to the owner. Very loud at night, so difficult to relax. Offered another nights stay to avoid ruining their reputation, gave another chance to be in a one of the pods with slats missing from the bed uncomfortable sleep, the POD was able to be open from the outside so was not secure. To then feed this back to be told I am banned and not allowed to stay there again and I am not welcome, and to become aggressive to my partner and ask what he had to say and antagonise my partner shouting okay stay in the car let her speak for you, unprofessional and poor manner, or a business who cannot take constructive feedback.

We stayed at The Falcon and had a wonderful experience! We were welcomed by the friendly staff who could not do more for us during our time. The pod was clean and spacious with a comfy bed and the hot tub was ready for us on arrival. We ordered breakfast which was delivered to us in the morning; fresh and filling! We also got dinner delivered (pizzas) and these were on time and great value. Some of the bits in the games room were a little dated but hardly an issue when you’re there to explore. We had a great time wandering the spotless grounds and surrounding areas and cannot wait to come back again! 10/10 would recommend!

Had a great stay, only for a weekend but was amazing, had great recommendations from the staff including Edwin regarding food and other staff recommendations on scenic walks. Definitely recommend. The pods were perfect, everything you need.

Been to stay before but wanted to return with our son so booked again for this weekend. Accommodation was cold upon arrival, but it was snowy and icy. However, the one small radiator never got above 17° which was ok if sat near it, but the rest of accommodation was much colder than that! Very clean and tidy. The one thing which we booked specifically for was the games room. We knew it was bad weather so thought a weekend away with a games room would be perfect: the games room was totally empty. We walked up at 9am on Saturday, then went to enquire at the cafe. The staff said it was cleared out ready for a Sunday morning yoga class. Why does it have to be cleared out so early on a Saturday for a class Sunday morning? It really disappointed us. It defo took the fun out of the weekend so we drove into rawtenstall and bought Uno from the local BandM bargains instead. I was really looking forward to returning with my family after loving the place so much the last time I came with friends. Left disappointed. There is a lovely, big antiques building just at the end of the street which is worth a look. Cannot fault staff here either as they are really friendly and do their job well. Just wish I’d have known the games room wouldn’t be an option.

Just returned from a weekend away at Rossendale. We stayed on the campervan pitches (I'd like pitch 1 or 4 next time) pitch 1 for the views or pitch 4 for the privacy. Was welcomed by a young lad very helpful and kind took us to our pitch and told us about the facilities available. Cafe on site for food and drinks available (little expensive for drinks so take your own). Private hottub not very private if you've booked that (side of female toilets). Toilet/shower block clean and tidy site overall well looked after. Games room available pool/table tennis table sofa TV dvds and books. Local pubs look better inside than out not much to do/walk nearby. Thank you for the hospitality Rossendale. Anyone that goes will enjoy

What can I say. Amazing two night stay in the Oak Cottage. Great staff attention to detail. Staff very attentive. Lodge very clean and had everything that was needed. First doggy get away with my little tan and black dachshund. Great space around the lake to teach Luna recall off the lead. Beautiful tranquil atmosphere and setting. Arrange a fire pit where my daughters 13 and 10 did marshmallows. Lovely family break away with mum daughters and little four legged fur baby. Will definitely be back. The weather the was perfect, like being abroad. Home from home feeling. Pizza made to order and freshly delivered Falshaws ice cream - mint choc chip was yummy.

Fantastic one night stay in the Heron Pod. The location and surroundings are beautiful. The pod was lovely and clean and my children particularly enjoyed the games room. The staff were really friendly and we would definitely return for another stay. Thank you 😊

Booked 2 nights here in our campervan, amazing value for money, the site is spotless, every member of staff we saw was so helpful and really accommodating, the motorhome pitches are well placed, fresh running water with a hose pipe which is very handy. The long barn is a really nice addition, the shop has everything you need if you forget essentials, quiet and peaceful. The showers and toilets are incredibly clean. Would definitely go back!
