Appalling service from staff - could never find any! Lukewarm welcome. Outdated equipment. Appalling wifi. Ladies toilets were dirty. “Suite” was tiny - vastly overpriced

Every aspect of our three day stay at Hotel Lion d’Or was stunning, the ambience, the elegant rooms and stylish atmosphere, the friendly ambience with professional attentive staff contributed to a wonderful experience. Didier Clement’s inspired and innovative culinary expertise using local products from the Sologne region created dinners that were particularly memorable and we are already planning our return stay. Excellent in every way!

Upon the arrival and from outside the hotel doesn’t generates a great impression, and even the reception area doesn’t pay justice to the efforts of the owners and staff. The rooms are great we had the 16 (fantastic with a balcony and a very nice setting of the furnitures) the 10 and 15. All you can need during your stay is present. As for the breakfast and dinner I can only say that we all where very pleased by the quality of the service (all the staff) and the food and the exceptional wine list.

Emplacement = En plein centre de Romorantin mais la rue est calme pas de désagrément durant la nuit. Chambre = Parfaite : literie, éclairage, salle de bain, TV, propreté tout est au rendez-vous. Accueil = Personnels sympathiques et souriants Dîner = Très bien mais les portions auraient pu être un peu plus gourmande. manquait une musique zen d'ambiance afin d'être plus à l'aise dans le silence de la salle. L'offre annonçait une bouteille nous avons à la place deux verres de vin associés aux plats. Petit-déjeuner = Parfait avec les petites viennoiseries faites par le chef sauf la baguette. Confitures maison très bonnes et chocolat de qualité. Manquait uniquement dans le cadre d'une box offert par nos enfants un apéritif inclus comme un verre de champagne comme nous avons eu ailleurs avec ce type de box. Ce que nous avons appréciés : Le parking proposé en arrière de l'entrée qu'il faut trouver avec l'aide de la réception.

La décoration, au rez de chaussé et dans la salle de restaurant, est le point fort de cet hôtel restaurant situé au cœur de la ville Nous avons apprécié le calme de la chambre, et la disponibilité du personnel. Restaurant étoilé, très belle carte des vins.
