Residenza Palline

The stairs to the appartement are horrible. To open the appartement and the rooms was very complicated, we needed several messages by WhatsApp, but the lady on the Assistence is kind and understanding.

A fairly experience but could be cleaner. A fairly experience. It’s an old apartment in a cozy neighbourhood. Close to the metro (A). The place was decent but the cleaning was not good, the AC quite loud and the whole place could really use an update - the pictures of the place is not really how it looks now (might be a couple of years ago). It was easy to get in touch with the people renting the apartment through their own website.

Property was very clean, spacious and cozy. Easily accessible and within a good location. Help received fairly quickly via WhatsApp. Main issue was I think there’s just 1 iron between the 5/6 rooms which meant we didn’t get to use it.

Good apartment but they didn’t provide an iron box like it was stated on the website. When we asked them, they said one of the other apartments must have been using it and we should ask them.

We booked two rooms for several days. Positive : great location, very close to St Peter and some nice streets with restaurants nearby. Negative : cleaning could be largely improved. The bed of the blue room is hard (in other words, we didn't sleep well).

Residenza Palline is the name given to a group of suites next to each other, but are run by a different managements. We and our brother both booked through ******* each a kitchenette suite under this name. Our suite was clean and we had constant access with online management through WhatsApp . For us, they came every three days to replenish toilet paper, and change out towels and bedding. Our brother who does not have internet, managed (by using our phone) to get somebody to let him into his suite, but his was problematic. His was owned and run by someone using the same booking sites but didn’t care about his clients. There was water leaking on his bathroom floor which we called to let him know about, but we could only get hold of his friend who said “ send pictures”. Our data pkg wouldn’t let us do that, and that was it - no one ever came for the entire seven days to replenish their toilet paper, or to change out their towels or bedding, or to fix the plumbing. Their room was definitely not as advertised. I could not recommend this place because I could not guarantee booking on these sites that I would be able to get the suite that we had last time and not accidentally get stuck with this other suite that my brother-in-law did.. Owner of my brother in laws suite was named Matt..that’s all I know. Otherwise location was excellent near Vatican, lots of great restaurants all around.
