Antico Albergo del Sole al Pantheon

Svegliarsi nell'attico di questo antico albergo, con vista Pantheon che sembra poterlo toccare allungando un braccio, affacciarsi sui tetti della città eterna, ti fa sentire come un antico Imperatore, da lassù non vorresti mai andare via, il silenzio e la tranquillità di quei balconi... e sotto la piazza più bella, della città più bella del mondo... Esperienza indimenticabile

Antico Albergo del sole Pantheon was amazing. Staff was so helpful with dinner reservations, arranging driver pick cup at the airport - all before our stay. Hotel is the oldest in Rome,. just 27 rooms, great staff and location is perfect - same piazza as The Pantheon. We loved our stay - can not say enough about this hotel!

Un bell’albergo posizionato esattamente di fronte al pantheon. Ha una lunga storia, affascinante e importante, che si riflette nel prezzo, non economico. Qualcosa comunque da migliorare: stanza con odore di muffa, senza alcuna vista sul pantheon ma su un cortiletto interno, dal quale provenivano molti rumori. Caldo soffocante in stanza, acqua che fuoriesce dalla doccia. Colazione nella norma, waffle durissimi, pane non tostato. In compenso ottima pulizia, personale molto molto gentile e cortese. In definitiva, un buon hotel ma non eccezionale.

L’albergo e’ il piu’ antico di Roma e vanta ospiti illustrissimi nel corso dei secoli. E’ stato di recente ristrutturato ed e’ una chicca nel centro storico romano. Bella la vista sul pantheon, ottima colazione. Ottimo il servizio e le attenzioni. Assolutamente consigliato per chi vuole trascorrere un soggiorno glam.

Antico Albergo del Sole al Pantheon This hotel has it all. Perfect location, comfortable, clean, well-maintained rooms, good food and attentive staff. We have stayed in many hotels in Rome, and this is definitely the best. Location – Literally, across the square from the Pantheon, with practically all the sites you would want to see withing walking distance. We are both in our mid seventies and we had no trouble walking to the Colosseum, the Forum, the Domus Aurea, the Vatican, Santa Maria Maggiore, the Ara Pacis, Castello Sant Angelo, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain ,all the major shopping areas and many others. For the less energetic, Argentina metro is five minutes walk away. Room – We had a junior suite, which was spacious, comfortable and clean, with everything that you would want. It was also surprisingly quiet. The wifi was free, as it should be, but rather idiosyncratic. You had to switch the television on and scan a barcode from the screen to log in, but once you had done that it worked very well. The only criticism would be that the drains tended to smell at night. We mentioned this to the manager, who was very good about it, and may well have had it fixed by now. Food – Breakfast is the only meal served, and room service is free if you want it in bed. The buffet is well-worth getting up for, however, with a good selection of cereals (with extra nuts and dried fruit to add), scrambled eggs, bacon and hot vegetables, together with an array of cold meats and cheeses, breads etc, fruit, yoghourt, and the usual vast Italian choice of cakes. At the moment you are not allowed to serve yourself, because of Covid, but the staff delivered an excellent service with very little waiting. Staff – All, without exception, were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive without being in any way obtrusive. Perfect! Overall Verdict – Would recommend to anyone. We are already saving up to go back next year.

Soggiorno fantastico, camera moderna, molto spaziosa e curata nei minimi dettagli. Location formidabile, con vista pantheon. Personale accogliente e disponibile ad ogni esigenza. Colazione ottime e molto abbondante. Super consigliato !
