Seaside Getaway Cottage w Deck, Parking, Ocean View, Shops

Wonderful cottage in superb location Loved every minute of it. Excellent location directly at the water and the shops and restaurants. The house is very well appointed with new and modern appliances and bathroom. Beds were super comfy and house is very cozy and super clean. The deck/balcony with view on the water is wonderful. The house is very quiet. Communication with the owner is excellent and check in and check out process are straightforward and easy. The owner really goes above and beyond to make this a memorable and comfortable stay. We had a great time and would highly recommend this. The reserved parking spot is a huge plus. All in all an excellent place for spending a wonderful time.

4 days in Rockport Had a wonderful time enjoying the local shops and shoreline as well as some adventures up to Maine and whale watching out of Gloucester. Loved my morning runs/walks and local coffee shops to start the day.

Excellent host and stay! It’s obvious the hosts care deeply for their property & hosting fortunate travelers such as ourselves. The unit was immaculate & stocked with every item a forgetful visitor may need during a stay. We loved the no shoes policy! The craftsmanship that went into the renovation of this seemingly historical unit is top notch. Every detail was thought of & it shows. Every inch was used wisely & no modern convenience was spared. There’s even a slide out dishwasher! The new stackable W/D definitely came in handy! The listing’s pictures are accurate but they don’t do the property justice. The top floor deck is incredible! It overlooks the wharf, Back Harbor & Front Beach. We spent lots of time on the deck enjoying the view! The location is perfect; ditch the car & walk to and fro during your stay. Restaurants, coffee, ice cream, shopping - all within walking distance. Additionally, most establishments in the area don’t have public restrooms; it’s nice to have a home base close by when enjoying the town. The host is very responsive & communicates well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & wish we could have stayed longer. You will not be disappointed if you choose this location for your stay in Rockport! ***Things to note: this is a 2nd & 3rd floor unit. The stairs leading up to the front door are fairly steep. Pack light if possible! The stairs leading up to the loft & outdoor deck are VERY steep, shallow & slippery. Something to consider when traveling with small children or elderly.
