Nice simple family-run hotel with everything you need in close proximity to local beaches. Reception very helpful and flexible, cold drinks at decent prices if needed, small clean pool and 19 large rooms with great AC and ceiling fan and kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Good shower in en suite and little balcony but don’t expect a great view. All in all can’t fault it

This hotel was in a great spot! Close to restaurants, nightlife and the beach. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Really helpful and amazing employees. Pool was really nice to have as well.

Melbourne Inn is exactly what you expect. Extremely helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms and a great pool. We also really enjoyed the distance to the beach and restaurants in the city.

26 january- 20 February 25 nights. We enjoyed our stay every minute . Loved everything, breakfast and Coffee in sunshine, the lovely evenings with wine under the stars on the balcony. Very good beds, and fully equipped kitchen. The rooms are bright and nice. and all staff always in a good mood and helpfull, not matter what. At last but not least, the beautiful pool and sunbed area. All of this was extremly clean. Melbourne Inn is situated close to everything, restaurants of various types, grocery store,beaches. Will defenitly come back. Good value for money. Home away from Home.

The staff and patrons are amazing. Friendly and there for you. Nice small friendly environment. Perfect for a vacation get a way. Will definitely stay there again. Close to many shops and restaurants. All within walking distances.

Situated at the quiet end of St Lawrence Gap, this economical hotel is just minutes stroll from the beach, restaurants and bars. The pool is small but pleasant and never crowded, there are sun loungers and also a fully covered area with tables and chairs (a boon for fair skinned sun-avoiders!). Our room had a kitchenette and everything we needed for our stay. Security was very good and staff were excellent (big shout out to Nicky who gave us inside info about where to park for the cricket match!). There was a small car park for our hire car. The bed was enormous and truly one of the most comfortable ever! This is not a posh hotel and doesn't have lovely views, but is small, friendly, comfortable and really good value for money.

I highly recommend staying at Melbourne. Their customer service is exceptional. They take great care of their guests and make them feel like family. Every time I stay at Melbourne, my expectations are exceeded. I have been a guest at Melbourne since 2016, and it is the only place I trust to maintain consistency in cleanliness and customer service. The staff is excellently trained and handpicked by the owners. They truly understand the importance of customer service. I cannot express enough how much I adore this place; if there were a way to give them more than five stars, I would. Every time I visit, the pool area is like a sanctuary where I can escape and unwind from the stresses of everyday life. What's more, the lovely fragrance that they diffuse throughout the main areas is simply heavenly. It's so enticing that I wish they would bottle and sell it so that I could take it home with me. If you are reading this review.. BOOK NOW!!

Excellent location in the Gap. Close to a convenience store and lovely restaurants for either a quick bite or more relaxed dining.
Room was clean and neat. Not luxury but more than adequate for a place to stay if you are on the go daily. Comfortable bed too! Pool lovely and well maintained.
Staff very friendly and warm. I would return!

Wonderful place that you won't regret staying at. Only small issues would be sometimes there no hot/warm water to shower and it's a bit loud in the hallway as people come and go in the mornings and at night, but otherwise well worth the money and super clean!
