Hai mai avuto una tazza vegana? Sai come sembrano super buoni - il cioccolato è spesso lucido, la torta è grande, e il gelato sembra che possa passare per il burro? Poi prendete un po' e immediatamente si sentono male per chiunque pensi che sia quello che un buon biscotto provi. Questo è il Courtyard Rochester Downtown in un nutshell. Certo sembra abbastanza bello, ma non è burro. Oh, dove comincio? E se avessimo trovato un sacchetto pieno di bagagli lasciato nella nostra stanza quando ci siamo accolti, e poi quando ho chiamato, ho ricevuto una corteccia “Lo manderò a prenderlo. ” Andiamo a non solo essere salutati con un hello o anche avere un problema di agente di front desk per guardare quando passeggiamo. Che ne dici di essere chiamato “bro” e “dude” da coloro che lavoravano lì? Consideriamo il ristorante dell’hotel, il ristorante che è ridicolo e troppo costoso. I dipendenti di questo dump ti fanno sentire come se tutto ciò che si può chiedere fosse un problema, e lo fanno ovviamente ogni occasione, quanto odiano i loro lavori. Ho commesso un enorme errore nel decidere di rimanere qui, soprattutto quando il Hampton Inn on Union è una bella nuova proprietà con meravigliosi membri della squadra.

Le strutture sono complete, l'ambiente dell'hotel è buono, l'ambiente del ristorante è elegante, il parcheggio è molto grande, il parcheggio e il viaggio sono molto convenienti.Non è lontano dalla Rochester University, guidare meno di dieci minuti.

When I arrived at the hotel on the evening of my reservation, I was told that there was no room for us. The front desk staff claimed that they had been trying to reach me since the day after I made the reservation. But the phone number she showed me was not our correct number. What I don't understand was why the hotel was not trying to reach me by email if they could not reach me by phone. The reservation was sent to my email so the hotel should have been able to reach me via email. I am also an IHG member and all my contact information is in my account. It is bad enough that the hotel could not honor the reservation, but claiming not able to reach me was absurd. The front desk staff was also not helpful in locating other hotels for us. She said other hotels were not answering their phone but I was able to call and make a reservation with another hotel within minutes. Worse, even though I never checked into the hotel they put a pre-authorization hold on my credit card account. This is such an insult after the chaos of not getting a room as reserved and having to scramble to find another hotel on my own. I filed a complaint online. The customer relation department emailed me back and stated that the hotel management would reach out within 48 hours. It has been 2 weeks now. No one has contacted me to apologize or offer even any token of compensation.

The room was a king suite which was quite spacious with a fluffy pillow and comfortable bed. Upon check in, the friendly woman told us breakfast is served behind you in Char and gave us the hours. I'm not much of a breakfast eater but figured I'd grab a yogurt and muffin before hitting the road. There was a buffet with breads, yogurt, fruit, and eggs, bacon, and sausage, but I don't eat much at breakfast. My husband grabbed some mediocre eggs and a few slices of bacon. I asked if there was coffee and it was brought out promptly. We were surprised when a bill for 47.00 came. Perhaps partially my fault for not remembering that it was not included, but I also think the woman at check out should say, You can purchase breakfast at the restaurant located by the fireplace. That's a hefty price for a yogurt and muffin. Someone said they make pancakes and custom eggs and omelets. That was never indicated to us at all so I'm not sure if that is true. Anyway, I've learned a lesson. I would stay here again but probably walk somewhere down the road for breakfast. Live and learn!
