Aldersyde Bed & Breakfast

Just back from a 2 night stay. Absolutely beautiful B&B, such gorgeous restored features but also lots of modern touches. We stayed in room 1 which was huge with the most amazing bathroom. It wasn’t en-suite but robes were provided so not an issue. Such attention to detail everywhere & Angela & Neil were great hosts; super friendly & informative. We haven’t stayed at Robin Hoods Bay before but when we return wouldnt hesitate to rebook & stay here. Should add that breakfast was fabulous too; cooked to order & lots of choice.

A great 3 night stay over a bank holiday weekend and school holiday.. We arrived early on the Sunday morning as agreed with Angela and Neil.. Although it was early the room was already being prepared for our stay and we were able to leave our luggage with Neil who made sure it was taken to our room (room 2). On street parking that morning was extremely limited. We were lucky to get a spot just around the corner which was fine. The street remained full for the next 2 days before spaces started to free up.. There is a car park 200 meters away though. The room was very pleasant nice size with a fantastic bathroom with large walk in shower and a bathtub.. It was extremely clean. The windows are double glazed and this kept out any noise that may have been happening.. Though the house is in a quiet street anyway. There is a small tv in the room and a hair dryer is supplied. The bed which we had as a kingsize was massive! And very comfortable.. Breakfast is ordered the night before to allow the owners to plan for no waste and was again fantastic.. Its a limited menu but for a small bed and breakfast is more than enough for them to provide.. It was a good choice of full English items or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.. The breakfast service was great with Angela providing an attentive service out front and Neil cooking.. The quality of the ingredients are fantastic and you can order exactly the configuration you want each day. Breakfast is served between 0800 and 0900 with you picking a time slot in advance. All in all Breakfast was delicious and filled us for the day! The owners are very pleasant and friendly and full of suggestions and local knowledge.. Thank you for a nice stay

First class B&B, beautiful Victorian house tastefully decorated. Hosts, Angela and Neil were very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Our bathroom wasn’t en-suite but we had exclusive use and robes were provided. Breakfast was delicious, quality ingredients, cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend staying here

We recently had a 2 night stay at short notice. Angela and Neil could not have been any more welcoming. The room was brilliant, luxurious and very clean. Also very cosy. Breakfast was cooked fresh, and a lovely selection. Angela and Neil made various recommendations of where to eat locally, and local walks - very knowledgable about the area. This was the most perfect place to stay in Robin Hood Bay.

This is my 5th visit to Aldersyde and it feels like home. It's beautiful. The room as ever was spotless with everything in we needed. The bed is very comfortable! The breakfast is delicious and all produce local and freshly cooked. The location is perfect, close to the car park and to walk down the bay. Angela and Neil are excellent host's and always provide an excellent service. The recommendations where to eat never disappoint. It really is a beautiful B&B and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the bay now. I look forward to returning and soon. Thank you both, Kath x

Lovely atmosphere and welcoming guest house. Great breakfast, comfy beds, lovely rooms, would highly recommend this accommodation. Nothing too much trouble when you ask. Angela and Neill are so helpful and have a great knowledge of the area. Accommodation exceptionally clean and tidy.

This place is absolutely stunning. Perfect location. Fabulous finishing touches and decoration a spacious en-suite bathroom. Warm welcoming hosts and a tremendous breakfast! 10/10 , we will definitely return.

The Aldersyde owners were so helpful and nice and we had a huge room and bathroom with a very large comfortable bed. B and B is a lovely house full of period details and very conveniently located as there was free parking but it is a short stroll into the steep village streets of Robin Hoods Bay.

We loved everything. Angela and Neill were wonderful hosts who went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful trip. The building was beautiful and very nicely decorated, the room itself was stunning with great views. Lovely big bathroom with nice shower as well. The breakfast room was especially attractive and the breakfasts themselves were excellent. A wonderful place to stay!
