I booked 1 night before as I arrived the night before. I asked if I could not change rooms the next day when my roommate arrived so was give 2 singe beds. All good. Then after using the key card for 5 minutes, it went into darkness, each time crawling on the floor to find the door. This went on 4 times, I finally went back downstairs. Gave me another card. The moment I used the sink, it filled with dirty water and would not empty. Now I tried to have a shower, didn’t work. Rang downstairs and a repair man came later. Said it would get fixed at 9am tomorrow. I’m in nothing but a gown and after 24 hours of travelling I needed a shower now. So, they changed my room. Late at night I was running back and forth to a new room. New room, there was this loud noise like in a horror movie non-stop. It was the elevators going up and down. It was soooo loud in this room. Probably a room they never use but I finally had a shower. Next day phone didn’t work. Kettle didn’t work. We took it downstairs, handed it in and asked for another one. Then asked again and again 4 times. Asked for another pillow 5 times. Every time we came back to the room the key cards never worked. Was so sick of going up and down to the reception to try to get in. This hotel was a disaster and I paid $250 Australian for the extra night. Probably worth $60 at best. Intrepid should NOT use this hotel.
