Non ac hotel for the price of an AC one…no value for money….there are much better priced and good hotels in rishikesh… We had booked 4 rooms in the hotel at least 3 months in advance for a trip in May 2024 for 2 nights….despite the advance booking 1 of the rooms allotted had a broken AC and we had to spend a sleepless night in the room with 2 kids because of the sweltering heat. Even after the issue was highlighted to the staff there was no effort on the part of the manager to get the same fixed. Also the staff was well aware of the broken ac but they still chose to allot such a room without fixing the issue to a family with kids. Further, when we rightly asked them to charge us with the cost of non ac room and refund the excess… they conveniently shifted the burden on the sales team which was nowhere in the picture. Some of the bathroom flushed werent working.. fans stopped working in the middle of the night. To cut a long story short, the dont understand the concept of customer service or probably how to run a hotel. This place is so not worth the price being paid for it. They have a long way to go in terms of customer service and upkeeping the room. Dont get deceived by the pictures… the property is nothing even remotely close to it. Strictly avoidable.

Visited Arches Café in Laxman Jhula and absolutely loved it. The vibe is cozy with a beautiful Ganga view that makes your coffee taste even better. Their coffee is spot on, and I’d strongly recommend trying the brownie – it’s delicious! Perfect place to sit back, relax, and enjoy the calm of Rishikesh. i was staying at Hotel ishan so use to spend quality time there .

Peaceful spot by the river I recently stayed at Hotel Ishan and really liked the overall vibe of the place. It's close to Laxman Jhula but still feels peaceful once you're inside. My room was clean and comfortable, and having a balcony overlooking the Ganga made mornings extra special. The staff were friendly without being over the top , checkin was smooth and Anushka at the reception was welcoming whenever I had a question. What I also appreciated was that I could walk everywhere to the bridge, small temples, and even sit by the ghats in the evening without needing transport. After a day out, coming back to the quiet of the hotel felt perfect. Would happily stay here again.

We stayed at Hotel Ishan for two nights and really liked the homely vibe. The rooms were tidy and comfortable, and the view of the Ganga from the balcony was a highlight for us. Staff were kind and helpful , anushka at the front desk was always polite and easy to approach. The location is excellent; we could walk to the bridge, ghats, and plenty of small cafés nearby. Food at the hotel is decent, but we mostly enjoyed exploring local eateries. Overall, it felt safe, convenient, and good value for money.

I booked Hotel Ishan for two nights and it turned out to be just the kind of place I was looking for. The hotel is calm and away from the usual rush, yet close enough to walk to Laxman Jhula and nearby cafés. My room was basic but tidy, and the view of the Ganga each morning was worth it. The staff here are genuinely polite and helpful, not overbearing. Anushka at reception was very kind and welcoming, which made the stay more comfortable. The rooftop is a lovely spot to sit in the evenings. Food could be a bit better, but with plenty of eating options close by, it didn't bother me much. Overall, a safe and peaceful stay that I would happily recommend.

This was my second visit to Rishikesh, though my first time trying Hotel Ishan. The property isn't big, but it has a very calm, easygoing atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable right away. Since I was traveling solo, I really valued how safe and welcoming It felt. My room was clean and faced the river starting the day with chal and that view was such a treat. The staff, including Anushka at the front desk, were polite and approachable whenever I had questions. The food is simple, light, and homely, which worked perfectly for me. The location is excellent only a short walk to Laxman Jhula, plenty of little cafés, and the ghats for evening Aarti. For anyone looking for a peaceful and well-located stay, this place is a great choice.

We stayed here over a weekend and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel itself is not luxurious, but it's clean, peaceful, and has a lovely view of the Ganga. The staff are genuinely polite no fake smiles, just helpful and respectful. Anushka was very sweet during check-in and made sure we got a room with the view we wanted. Safety wise, we felt comfortable leaving our elderly parents in the hotel while we went out exploring. Everything is within walking distance - the bridge, temples, and small dhabas where you can eat. Overall, a reliable choice if you want a peaceful stay.

I spent 4 nights at Hotel Ishan and really appreciated how calm and peaceful it felt compared to other busy spots nearby. My room was simple but clean, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view of the Ganga that made mornings extra special. The staff were polite and always willing to help without making me feel like a bother. At the reception, Anushka was kind and patient, even giving me tips about quieter ghats and where to find local snacks. The location couldn't be better Just a short walk to Laxman Jhula and the riverbank. The food is homely and light, which I personally enjoyed more than heavy restaurant meals. Evenings at the hotel were quiet and relaxing, exactly what I was hoping for during my stay.
