Hotel in zona Life Community Church, Rijswijk

Great hotel, nice employee, fantastic service, phenomenal experience. I stayed there with a friend for a week, each day we left the hotel at the morning/noon before 11 am. Afterwards we got a cleaned room with new bathtubs and also the kitchen was refilled. The personal was cool. Would like to stay a bit longer

L'hotel era molto pulito, servizio sorprendente (il mio marito era malato con l'influenza e dobbiamo cambiare i nostri vestiti da letto e loro dove molto veloce). A proposito della posizione, la stazione ferroviaria è vicina e la stazione ferroviaria, ma è circa un'ora da Amsterdam centrale. A proposito delle strutture, è stato molto bello se l'hotel dispone di un bagno con una sauna e una stanza a vapore.

It took me a while to write this review since I was afraid of my personal safety. Nevertheless, I have finally decided to share this information with other travelers. This incident happened during a weekday night when I decided to do a walk-in at the Ibis hotel in Den Haag after a long trip. I was already aware of some bad reviews from other travelers indicating ”naughty” staff. Nonetheless, I decided to give it a go. I entered the hotel and mentioned the hotel clerk that I wanted to book a room. His attitude was rough indicating me that he did not have any rooms left. For my bad luck, my phone was out of battery so I decided to seat in one of the tables in the lobby to quickly charge it to look for a hotel somewhere else. While I was charging my phone, the clerk approached me and shouted at me that I had to leave the hotel. I explained him that I wanted to charge my phone to look for other hotels in the area and I wouldn't take much time. He continued shouting at me that I had to leave, when suddenly he grabbed my bag and literally threw it to the street. At this moment I was petrified since I never imagined something like this was happening. Then, he pushed me violently out of the hotel. Luckily I managed to take a picture of this guy. The guy has a tattoo on his right arm and rather than a hotel clerk, he thinks he is a MMA fighter or part of gang. I really don't know how the manager of this hotel can have person like this with such level of anger dealing with customers. My review by no means intend to advice other travelers to visit or not this hotel. I believe the facilities of this hotel are quite nice but what I can say is that I'm not entering this place again until they take strong actions towards improving the quality of their staff. I hope this guy doesn't get fired because of this review but if the hotel really wants to keep him, the hotel should consider send him to an anger management course. I don't know if this guy is always like this or just had a bad night and he took it on me. Nonetheless, I think no one should suffered what this guy did to me under any circumstance.

Room (upgrade received as HHonors Diamond member) was very clean and spacious as was the hotel and corridors in general. Executive lounge has a nice terrace and offered a very good variety of food during happy hour. Breakfast buffet is rich and of very good quality. The breakfast room can be very busy but guests can also use additional seating in the adjacent bar, so this is not a problem. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk away from the Binnenhof. Overall one of the best Hilton hotels we have stayed so far.

Sono solo così la piccola stanza che ho avuto era perfetta. 100 € per notte così rimase due notti. Non hanno parcheggio ma il garage lungo la strada è grande, pulito e sicuro. 20 € per notte ma lo stamperanno per dare un piccolo sconto. Ero letteralmente nel cuore di tutto quello che volevo vedere. Ero un blocco da quella famosa vista con la canale e la chiesa involucriata Vermeer dipinta e la piazza del mercato. Il personale era fantastico e utile, che comprende il desk front e il personale per la colazione. Il mio unico negativo è anche con la finestra chiusa, potevo ancora sentire le persone ridere e camminare in hotel che è un percorso comune per le persone/biciclette. Portare le orecchie. Colazione non era la migliore e sono davvero felice di non aver pagato il 20€ completo. E' finita per essere circa 10 ogni giorno perché è stato “incluso” nel prezzo che ho pagato 20 extra per 2 giorni. Se vuoi la comodità andare per esso, ma se hai tempo solo per ottenere colazione in uno dei molti ristoranti all'interno dei blocchi 1-2. In generale sono molto felice con il mio soggiorno. Grazie! I love Novotel as a chain, and have stayed at this hotel before and was quite happy. This time I felt things were a little off and I wasn't as satisfied. I seem to recall getting a free bottle of water in the room, which it appears is not included anymore. No more individual shower gels and soaps, but now big pumps of soap, which is OK if you have the complete set of them. Yes, it's more environmentally friendly but it's also a sign of cost-cutting. Breakfast was more or less the same -- good choice and quality -- except on a busy weekend they seemed totally overwhelmed and people had to queue to get a table. On a quieter morning, I noticed a sign stating one can request omelettes and poached eggs from the kitchen, so I did, and this dish never materialized, which was a little awkward. The fresh orange juice machine is awful: constant noise and queues of people taking ages to each make one glass of juice, as it requires that the user slice the orange and then ram each half, one at a time, into the machine, yielding a tiny amount of juice. Repeat for 6 or 7 oranges to get a glass... It would be funny to watch as slapstick if it weren't so annoying to listen to. On the positive side, the rooms are still attractive, comfortable, and quiet.

Free parking. A good start. Friendly and efficient reception. The hotel is currently undergoing a refurbishment. This was known. Room good although not yet refurbished but we knew this in advance. Good bed , good bathroom. New restaurant ”Eiber” not good. Tables between the entrance and open kitchen are a no no. A continuous stream of coming and going diners and waiting staff is passing the tables and this is distracting and chaotic. Food quality mixed. Schnitzel (pork cutlet) and fries fine but vegetables rather tasteless. Stewed pork cheek not good. As if we had the last bit scraped from the barrel. Just some ”pulled meat” in a watery ”jus”. Not very tasty. The so called ”potato gratin” was no more than a dollop of mashed potato. We also briefly tried the bar but the music was so loud that we walked in and immediately out again! So all in all: Room fine, restaurant not so!

I reserved a hotel with bath inside the room. When we arrived it was farely busy in the hotel due to the check in times. We waited for 20 minutes to check in and were told we got upgraded to a wellness room with a sauna. We took a walk along the beach which is litteraly in front of the hotel and we enjoyed a nice jacuzzi and sauna the rest of the evening. With a stunning view along the beach and city. Yes it was pricey! And parking in front of the hotel is 25€ per day or 6,50€ per hour which is really expensive (the hotel cant do anything about the parking fees because of the government, but maybe public transport is an option for you) Pricey, but absolutely worth every penny. And dont forget you get access to their own wellness included with your room!

A large hotel, conveniently situated close to the station, and also the centre of Leiden. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and pleasant, and the bed comfortable. At a very reasonable price too! I would certainly stay here again if I return to lovely Leiden. Definitely Recommended.
