We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel due to several unresolved issues and poor communication from the staff. The sink in our room was broken, making it unusable for even basic hygiene like washing our hands. We reported this to reception in the morning and were told a technician would come to fix it. Unfortunately, that never happened. When we followed up later, we were told the technician was “busy” and had already left for the day.
We requested a room change, but were informed that the hotel was fully booked. Given the lack of basic amenities, we felt a refund was reasonable. Initially, the front desk staff seemed understanding and said we could speak to the manager in the morning. However, when we returned, we were redirected again and told to call another manager the following day. When we finally reached him, he flatly denied our refund request.
Other aspects of the stay were also unsatisfactory. Check-in was slow, despite us arriving at the expected time. We had specifically requested separate beds, which we did not receive. Additionally, when we returned to the room later that day, it had not been cleaned.
Overall, this experience left us feeling misled and frustrated. We’ve since contacted Trip and our credit card provider to escalate the issue. I would strongly recommend choosing a different hotel.
