Clean comftable and quirky period Hotel. Myself and daughter loved the hotel. It was great value for money with an excellent breakfast. Our room had a beautiful view. We stayed in the easby room which had a dressing room and lovley bathroom.. I would certainly book this hotel again. The room was on slant due to the age of the house 1809 .

Stayed in the Richmond Suite and we can't fault it. We have stayed in 3 hotels in Richmond over the last year and a half and this one is the best. Won't be staying anywhere else now. Bed was comfy and the log fire makes it so cosy. Bath in the room near the open fire is a very good idea. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We had full English breakfast and throughly enjoyed it. There was no noise for any of the pubs in the town centre which was great. Definitely recommend this hotel, well worth the money

I was disappointed! it’s not a luxury hotel, as advertised. Lovely building but needs a full refurbishment to get to that luxury level. Found bath with a crack in, no separate shower gel, shampoo & conditioner just a one that’s all in one and a separate hand wash. Not luxury toiletries, my thoughts of luxury would be Espa, Templespa, White company etc. The hotel also had reed diffusers dotted around & in the room these had, had better days and was time to put new ones out. Also our TV kept buffering . Luxury to me is 5 star and everything is of the highest quality in decor, carpets etc making it perfect I would say it’s a 3 star hotel, good location, friendly staff & breakfast tasty. I would of preferred to have been able to order breakfast on the morning, rather than the evening before Also feel 10:00 departure time is early, most hotels its 11:00 Did feel a bit let down thinking it was a luxury hotel.£130 is a lot for a 3 star hotel & I could of gone to a few other hotels for similar price, that is 4 star in the area. Unfortunately I would not return

Great Guesthouse, very comfortable, beautiful furniture, really clean and excellent breakfast. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The Guesthouse is centrally situated and within easy reach of bars, restaurants and the Castle. Highly recommended.
