We stayed here on 12/04/25 and we had such a nice stay here celebrating my birthday with my partner. All of the staff are so lovely and helpful. The beds are the comfiest I have ever stayed in definitely the best nights sleep I’ve had in a long time. The treatments and the thermal bathing were unbelievable, they were so relaxing. We made the mistake of not booking in the restaurant and we didn’t know the kitchen closed at 9pm (which was our own fault because we didn’t check). We got to the restaurant just after 9 and were told the kitchen had closed and we were unsure of what to do because we had a £40 voucher for a meal and we didn’t know the area well but Rodrigo made sure this was not an issue and sat us down which we were so grateful for. I wanted to mention all the staff that night, Maahira, Hassan and Gabriel they were all so polite and friendly and made sure they gave us the best service possible. The food was the best, so delicious. Rodrigo needs a special shoutout because he is just amazing, what a genuine nice guy he honestly made our night so special. Thankyou so much for making my birthday and our stay so special we appreciate everything that everyone did. We will definitely be returning and I recommend this place for everyone if you are looking for a VERY relaxing treat :)

I'm not the first person to leave a negative review regarding the mothers day event. As mentioned by many there was not enough food, tables crammed together in an unsafe manor and hardly any staff. My true disappointment comes from how the company have handled the situation following. A noble thing to do would have been to hold their hands up and admit they were at fault and issue refunds. I would have had respect for the buisness and management. You may come to Stanley House and have a great experience, but if you don't, then please don't expect any consideration or understanding from management. You will not be compensated nor will your opinion as the customer matter to them at all. They just want to make money. Which is what they did on Mother's Day. Disgusting, money grabbing behaviour. Completely unacceptable.

room was spot on bt spring was out of matteess and poke in my thigh. showed pic at recep. waited for main course for 55 mins cold and chik stink send back bf no tea coffee ask staff she donr knw went in room made tea and coffee afta waitng for half and hr . order dessert no spoon waitd fr spoon as staff want to get it never came bck ice cream melted me and wife had to share a fork fr dessert well tried first time melted ice cream eating with fork. it was our wedding anniverssary mrs has to have tea and biscuit in room as food was sent back as its stink . 730 went fr dinner starter came at 8 fr main have to wait till 9:25 came out at 10 . staff were stres out and panicking feel sorry for them . 3 staff fr like more then 50 people fr dinner. and 1 staff . fr bf n morning . no1 to take order have to ask at reception . no feed back for tea and coffee whn ask . spoil our anniverssary never goin again .

I had the best spa day with my daughter! It was our first time at Stanley House Spa, and I feel like a new person. The treatments were perfect, so relaxing, and done with so much care. My therapist, Riz, was amazing and made me feel so comfortable. She's so professional and a gem! I left feeling lighter, calmer, and totally pampered. It was such a special experience, and I can't wait to go back. The product recommendations are amazing! I bought the hydrating double cream, and it's amazing for my very dry skin. Thank you so much, highly recommend this amazing place with a great view.

We chose Stanley House for our wedding venue because it is in a beautiful location and the hotel is gorgeous. I ended up staying 3 nights in total, in 3 different rooms and each one was amazing. We couldnt fault the rooms or the service and our wedding day ran so smoothly.

Had an amazing experience in the spa and the quality of the service and the interactions from the staff couldn’t be faulted. I definitely got out of the experience what I came for which was followed up by a good nights sleep.

We had a great time at Stanley House Hotel & Spa. The setting is beautiful, the staff were lovely, and the spa was the perfect way to switch off. The food really stood out – every meal was delicious and beautifully presented. Some areas of the hotel are starting to feel a little tired and could use a refresh, but it didn’t take away from the experience at all. Overall, a fantastic stay and we’d definitely return – especially for the food!

I arrived late at night (around midnight). I wasn’t given clear instructions to the room but once finding it, I unpacked & got ready for bed. After pulling back the covers, there was a full size stain on the sheets (possibly fake tan) then other stain blotches. After informing reception staff, they told me they could give me other sheets but I refused to put them on myself to which they said they’d do it but at that time of night, all I wanted was my bed. They gave me another room so I had to pack up & move. Breakfast the next day I asked for 3 items to be removed from the full English, expecting extra of other but unfortunately not. I had a meeting with my company & it was 15 mins into the meeting before we were asked about tea or coffee & before water was brought in. The batteries were stolen out of the tv remote so had to manually operate the tv. Expected better.
