Premessa: io personalmente toglierò sempre almeno mezzo punto per la mancanza del bidet nel bagno. Posto in un luogo semi-sperduto, cosa che ho scelto volontariamente per gustarmi l'atmosfera, sono stato accolto in modo estremamente gentile dal proprietario che ci ha offerto tè, caffè , dolcetti e frutta. Stanza ampia, ben arredata così come il bagno. Ottima e completa la colazione. A pochi minuti il ristorante The Ring e Lastra, nonchè il Rozi's. Sempre a pochi minuti la Chiesa Cattolica ed i supermercati della Spar e Coop (megli questo, molto più grande). Ottimi i consigli datici dal proprietario, sia per i luoghi che per il resto. Sarebbero 4,5 stelle, ma non si possono dare.

Spent one night here on a family visit to Anglesey. It's a former pub (?), now a B&B. The room was very dated but spotlesslessly clean and we slept well in comfortable beds. A nice welcome touch was fresh coffee made by the host, on arrival after a long drive. Breakfast was served to order and was very good. It's a little remote location wise but it ticked the boxes for us & happy to recommend.

Searching online for a place near Moelfre as some friends were staying on a campsite in their camper van. Looking at the reviews, what could possibly go wrong. The answer is absolutely nothing, probably the best B&B I've ever visited. Bob and Heather, a lovely couple, it was a pleasure to meet them. Our room was spacious and spotless and there were some nice toiletries and a good assortment of tea, hot choc, coffee and biscuits. Breakfast time and requirements all arranged the night before and it was just what we wanted. I wouldn't hesitate to return and I wish them both the very best for the future.

We visited the Sportsmans Lodge in July for a four night stay. We were welcomed by our hosts Heather and Bob . After a long drive a pot of tea and biscuits were most welcome. We stayed in the Carnegie Room which was well equipped with tea and coffee facilities, a comfy bed and a good side bathroom. Breakfast was varied from cereals and juice to a jam packed cooked breakfast cooked to your requirements and size, and was delicious. Our hosts were friendly and attentive and at breakfast Bob would enquire about your day and offer advice on your travels around the island including places to eat. Sportsman Lodge is in a quiet hamlet and a relaxing place to be and only about three miles or so from the coast down calm and traffic free country lanes. The location was perfect and the hosts lovely and the perfect place to stay in order to recharge your batteries.

Great place to stay! Very accomodating and friendly hosts! The entire place are clean and rooms very well equipped..we had a marvelous time and comfort at its best after a long day of activities. We would definetlt recommend to anyone in the area! Thank you so much gor having us. They are both great host.

Used as my overnight base for birdwatching in Anglesey. Couldn't fault any aspect of the stay. Good breakfast cooked to order, comfortable bed, good wi-fi and a powerful shower. Our host made me a welcome cup of tea on arrival too which was a nice touch.

We stayed at the Sportsman Lodge while on a hiking trip to Wales. The rooms were very comfortable and attractive with a guest lounge available for lounging. The breakfast was very delicious with many choices. By accident I had lost an earring in the room before checking out. The owners, Bob and Heather, found it and delivered it to our next location before I even realized it was missing.

Excellent hosts have thought of everything. Made us feel very welcome from the time we arrived to the time we left, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent and rooms were clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend this establishment to people.
