Hotel in zona The Cage, Rodi

In realtà avevo prenotato presso una struttura adiacente, il Pearl Hotel. Ho scoperto sul posto (senza essere minimamente avvisata) che l'hotel era in ristrutturazione per cui siamo stati dirottati all'Esperia. Sicuramente dallo scambio ne abbiamo guadagnato ampiamente perché l'Esperia è decisamente un buon hotel: pulito, comodo, accogliente e con una colazione ottima. Oltretutto abbiamo pagato pochissimo. Ma, ripeto, probabilmente la mia esperienza non fa molto testo dal momento che avevamo prenotato altro, probabilmente di peggio. 😬 Comunque assolutamente consigliato!

Il Moschos Hotel si trova direttamente sulla spiaggia ed è stato rinnovato nel 2020/2021. L'hotel è a conduzione familiare e i proprietari erano super accoglienti e cordiali. Durante il processo di prenotazione potrai facilmente vedere quali camere sono già state rinnovate. Abbiamo prenotato la camera Superior con un'ampia terrazza con vista sull'oceano. La camera era stata rinnovata di recente e molto pulita. Il letto era molto comodo e la zona era tranquilla. La distanza a piedi dalla spiaggia era di 1 minuto, con l'hotel che offre anche una bella piscina. Ci sono molti ristoranti raggiungibili a piedi e puoi anche fare qualche escursione senza bisogno dell'auto (ad esempio fino al vicino monastero). Il taxi dall'aeroporto impiega 20 minuti e costa 30 euro con la mancia. Possiamo sicuramente consigliare questo posto!

Appena rientrati da una settimana al Lindos White. Struttura curata e pulita dalle camere alle zone comuni. Suite vista mare quadrupla spaziosa con bagno molto grande e terrazzo sulla piscina bambini. Personale efficiente, sempre sorridente e cortese … soprattutto le donne! Bar piscina centrale top: Lina ed Eleni fantastiche! Ma il vero valore aggiunto è Anass il referente Alpitour nonché animatore in loco che è sempre pronto a dispensare consigli ed informazioni x visitare l’isola: un ragazzo eccezionale! Un grazie anche ad Erika, staff animazione, dolcissima e sempre cordiale. Noleggio auto comodissimo in prossimità dell’hotel. Ristorante centrale buono e due ristoranti x la cena serviti. Creperia ottima! Belle le piscine e mare fantastico: spiaggia con sassolini acqua non degradante ma subito profonda. Consigliato x una settimana di relax e comodissimo per visitare l’isola essendo in prossimità di Lindos e quindi a metà strada tra Rodi e Prassonissi.

The hotel had been recommended to us but I have to say we were disappointed. Our room was lovely but on an extremely steep hill, taxing in the heat but manageable for us (we are in our fifties & both keep fit & are in good health) The cocktail bar was great to meet up with our friends before we went out. It is our 2nd visit to Pefkos so we had already eaten at the Nostalgia restaurant on the rooftop of the hotel & our meals there were a delicious as the last time (the hotel give you a voucher for a free half carafe to redeem here too) So we went in August ( due to my job we have to holiday then) and the hotel was full of kids. We had two 17 yr olds with us & we must be out of touch with how noisy the young ones are but even this wasn't really an issue. There seemed to be a lot of very large family groups, all reserving lots of beds so we really struggled to get sunbeds ourselves. There were six of us on the first week, 3 of us on the 2nd week. There were signs up regarding the management would remove towels if unattended after 1 hour - well, these rules were not enforced. There are 3 pools, the bottom teardrop shaped pool is the most pleasant, then there is a middle baby pool, useless for us, then the top main pool. The pool was rammed with people & big daft giant inflatables. This pool area isn't pleasant & made worse by the strong smell of old frying oil from the poolside bar. My husband would go down at around 8.45am & struggle to get 3 beds next to each other, one day we only managed 2 and a plastic chair. We came down to join him at 9am and there was noone around for hours! He sat on a plastic chair amongst about 4 dozen empty beds, eventually all but 6 filled up, we had a trip planned & were packing up to go & get changed at 3om - when the 2 families that had reserved those 6 sunbeds finally rocked up! They had two toddlers with them two so wouldn't of even needed the extra two beds! I was seething, they had clearly spent the day at the beach. Everyday was the same so we gave up, we had 16 nights at the hotel & used the ( very expensive) beach instead and several nearby pool bars, which were way nicer than the pools at the hotel anyway. Downside is, if you want to cut costs & make your own lunch ( albeit having to walk back up that hill) then this isn't possible as you have to purchase food & drink at the pool bars - I recommend Anixis Taverna, lovely quiet pool & food there amazing and the rock garden pool. So, ultimately we won't return here, maybe we should of complained but regardless, it was too loud, too busy & I hate to say it, too many big rough ass families all shouting across to each other & hogging up the sunloungers.

Struttura con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, adatta a bambini, ragazzi e adulti in quanto fornita di piscina grande e piccola, giardinetti, palestra, campo da beach volley, bar e altro. La camera era semplice ma funzionale e pulita. I pasti erano a buffet, principalmente con piatti italiani e greci. Non concordo con le recensioni che lamentano cibo ripetitivo, perché erano disponibili a pranzo e cena due diversi tipi di pasta (buonissima e saltata in padella sul momento) e un secondo alla griglia. Sia pasta che cibo grigliato variavano sempre. In più c'erano insalate, contorni caldi, riso, pesce, pietanze tipiche greche a buffet, anch'esse in gran parte diverse di giorno in giorno. Personale gentilissimo, come la signora Elini e Lara. Abbiamo inoltre apprezzato che il personale sia venuto incontro alle nostre esigenze (check out tardivo e avere una chiave in più per la stanza). Torneremo sicuramente!
