Hotel in zona Paralia Elli, Rodi

Lovely central hotel, yes it is on the road but traffic noise was not a problem. Very friendly and helpful staff. Max 20 minute walk to everything, beaches, restaurants, old town etc. Room was great, TV, fridge, air con, coffee and tea, saftey deposit and toiletries all included. Towels changed every day, not really necessary, but sheets not changed, if fact the first morning the top sheet was taken away and we had to ask for them back. The only thing wrong was that the matress protector was waterproof/rubber so not very comfartable but the actual bed was very comfortable. The web site states it has a bar but it looks like it is not in use. After our first week we say people with drinks at the pool and discovered that if you asked at reception they would get drinks for you. The breakfast was as you normally get except the boiled eggs were hot and soft, sometimes too soft, the fried eggs were soft too. The pool area is quite small, the sun loungers are very comfortable but could be more of them. Also the umbrellas were fixed to the ground and very difficult to put up. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

Stayed at the hotel 23rd December 2023 to January 3rd 2024. The booking was for hotel & breakfast. On questioning the receptionists twice regarding breakfast was told breakfast not served during winter months. Only receptionists & cleaners working. The receptionists did not advise that the breakfast costs were diverted to elswhere so went out for breakfast, That was over 12 days so no alternative offered. The Bed was comfy but the accomodation was basic. The room was not cleaned on 5 days during the stay. The fridge was empty, not even water in the fridge. If we wanted drinks, there was at least one fridge in the reception area that had water, bear & soft drinks that had to be paid for. we were on a budget but not so tight that we could not afford to have breakfast outside the hotel but had we have been on a tight budget the extra cost could have ruined the holiday. . The wardrobe had carrier bags left over from a previous occupant & in one drawer & a few disposable razors from a large pack in another drawer presumably from a previous occupant. Having spoken to Tripadvisor, they state the the hotel diverted the breakfast cost to an alternative option but we were not advised of the same & the hotel refuses to compensate for the additional cost of having to get breakfast outside the hotel. No compensation offered other than the one night we did not stay due to the late arrival of a connecting flight from Frankfurt to Rhodes. We spent over 250 euros eating breakfast outside the hotel due to the Parthenon not offering breakfast. I do not recommend this hotel other than to say the receptionists were polite but not informative about the stay. There were others staying at the hotel who may have had similar experiences. Th booking contained false advertising in stating hotel & breakfast but did not vocalise any alternative. That is money taken for services not offered. If you are looking to stay in Rhodes. try other hotels that may honour what is advertised. Rich & Judy Hinds.

Il Moschos Hotel si trova direttamente sulla spiaggia ed è stato rinnovato nel 2020/2021. L'hotel è a conduzione familiare e i proprietari erano super accoglienti e cordiali. Durante il processo di prenotazione potrai facilmente vedere quali camere sono già state rinnovate. Abbiamo prenotato la camera Superior con un'ampia terrazza con vista sull'oceano. La camera era stata rinnovata di recente e molto pulita. Il letto era molto comodo e la zona era tranquilla. La distanza a piedi dalla spiaggia era di 1 minuto, con l'hotel che offre anche una bella piscina. Ci sono molti ristoranti raggiungibili a piedi e puoi anche fare qualche escursione senza bisogno dell'auto (ad esempio fino al vicino monastero). Il taxi dall'aeroporto impiega 20 minuti e costa 30 euro con la mancia. Possiamo sicuramente consigliare questo posto!

Stayed for 6 nights all inclusive with Jet2 at the end of August. Lots of pros- The hotel is spotless clean and the staff are wonderfully friendly. It seems like an incredibly small team and they all made us feel welcome. The pool area was gorgeous, there’s a really nice breeze coming off the sea which takes the edge off the heat. Never an issue getting a sunbed (we’re not the type to go down early and put towels out at all! Whether we arrived at 11am or 4pm there were still beds). We had a late flight in (arriving 2am approx after delays) so food had obviously closed for the night but they’d left plates of food and bottles of water in our room which was a very appreciated touch. Overall, couldn’t fault the food for dinner or breakfast, lots of choice and we always had full plates. I found the snack bar a bit of a disappointment as this seemed to be what was left over from the night before which was just left out buffet style to help yourself (wasn’t a huge fan of left over stew in the blazing sun). Greek salad was amazing! Cons- Hotel is on the side of a busy road which is hard to cross and drivers seemingly ignore the zebra crossing a short way up from the hotel. The bar/ entertainment area is next to that busy road which just felt a bit strange. The entertainment is incredibly low budget but Willie does what he can. It’s very much audience led/ audience participation style entertainment which can get a bit tiresome after a few days. Few tips- public transport is easy but be prepared to wait a while for a bus as they are busy and often full! We waited an hour for one. For a sandy beach, get the bus to Faliraki. Rhodes acropolis is worth a visit, as is the old town. Not worth booking a hotel excursion though, just get the bus or walk it. Lindos is beautiful but try and get there early as it’s hot and busy! Also, you will need 50c for the toilets there.

My wife and I stayed for a week mid July at the Alila Hotel. This was our 4th holiday at Alila but the first without our children or friends. We had an initial problem with the AC in our room, as soon as we mentioned it was addressed immediately. We did end up changing rooms on the second day as the 40c heatwave made the room difficult to sleep. From that point on the holiday has been exceptional on every count. Evi who manages the restaurants is amazing. She made every meal extra special and all her team do an amazing job serving fantastic food with great skill with sometimes very difficult customers. Magda and Nichole in the Champagne bar are probably now much closer friends and create a fun atmosphere that just makes you want to come back again and again. The restaurants overall have stepped up their quality and are trying to allow more people to access the theme restaurants. The main bar is a bit of a scramble for chairs to watch the entertainment but the waiters do all they can to seat you and keep the drinks flowing. Calypso is amazing and makes you laugh and again makes you feel so welcome and enjoy your evening. Last but not least Spiros who works the beach ensuring that everyone is well hydrated. He never fails to bring a laugh and makes the heat seem to be just another day on the beach. We will definitely be back to see the fantastic people and use the 5* facilities. We truly felt special and got the VIP treatment.

The hotel had been recommended to us but I have to say we were disappointed. Our room was lovely but on an extremely steep hill, taxing in the heat but manageable for us (we are in our fifties & both keep fit & are in good health) The cocktail bar was great to meet up with our friends before we went out. It is our 2nd visit to Pefkos so we had already eaten at the Nostalgia restaurant on the rooftop of the hotel & our meals there were a delicious as the last time (the hotel give you a voucher for a free half carafe to redeem here too) So we went in August ( due to my job we have to holiday then) and the hotel was full of kids. We had two 17 yr olds with us & we must be out of touch with how noisy the young ones are but even this wasn't really an issue. There seemed to be a lot of very large family groups, all reserving lots of beds so we really struggled to get sunbeds ourselves. There were six of us on the first week, 3 of us on the 2nd week. There were signs up regarding the management would remove towels if unattended after 1 hour - well, these rules were not enforced. There are 3 pools, the bottom teardrop shaped pool is the most pleasant, then there is a middle baby pool, useless for us, then the top main pool. The pool was rammed with people & big daft giant inflatables. This pool area isn't pleasant & made worse by the strong smell of old frying oil from the poolside bar. My husband would go down at around 8.45am & struggle to get 3 beds next to each other, one day we only managed 2 and a plastic chair. We came down to join him at 9am and there was noone around for hours! He sat on a plastic chair amongst about 4 dozen empty beds, eventually all but 6 filled up, we had a trip planned & were packing up to go & get changed at 3om - when the 2 families that had reserved those 6 sunbeds finally rocked up! They had two toddlers with them two so wouldn't of even needed the extra two beds! I was seething, they had clearly spent the day at the beach. Everyday was the same so we gave up, we had 16 nights at the hotel & used the ( very expensive) beach instead and several nearby pool bars, which were way nicer than the pools at the hotel anyway. Downside is, if you want to cut costs & make your own lunch ( albeit having to walk back up that hill) then this isn't possible as you have to purchase food & drink at the pool bars - I recommend Anixis Taverna, lovely quiet pool & food there amazing and the rock garden pool. So, ultimately we won't return here, maybe we should of complained but regardless, it was too loud, too busy & I hate to say it, too many big rough ass families all shouting across to each other & hogging up the sunloungers.

Il Maya è un resort di lusso che non si può dimenticare, rimarrà per sempre nei nostri cuori. Noi abbiamo soggiornato in una camera vista mare con piscina condivisa ed è stato un sogno. L’attenzione al cliente viene dimostrata in ogni momento con la massima attenzione e gentilezza da parte di tutto il personale, ci siamo sentiti davvero coccolati! La camera ha un arredamento molto moderno con una climatizzazione perfetta e viene pulita più volte al giorno, il frigo bar è sempre rifornito con snack e bibite varie, oltre alla macchina Nespresso con cialde originali presente in camera. I ristoranti e i bar sono bellissimi e ben dislocati, facilmente accessibili da ogni punto del resort con grande qualità e varietà. La spiaggia, bandiera blu 2024, è pulita e garantisce lettini imbottiti e ampi ombrelloni per i clienti della struttura, è dotata di un punto ristoro e di un bar, oltre a bagni, spogliatoi e docce. La formula all inclusive permette di usufruire pienamente di tutti i servizi. Non vediamo l’ora di ritornarci.
